They also are likely to sign Miller and Barron and possibly Lundqvist.

I predict these additions as ELCs next offseason -

Tyler Wall |YES

+++++++++++++++++++++++++
Nico Gross | Maybe...meh

-------------------------------------------
Jacob Ragnarsson |Likely No
Calle Själin | Nah
Tyler Nanne |No
Simon Kjellberg |NO

In one more year -
Karl Henriksson | YES
Matthew Robertson|YES
REST IS MARINATING IN THE NCAA OR GRAVY... 2 More drafts completed then as well

Say what you want about the Lindbom pick, but at least none of our 2018 first rounders are spending their D+2 season in the BCHL like O'Brien. Yeesh.

It's been mentioned already in the training camp thread, but Tarmo was sent back to Liiga to play with Lukko on the year. Honestly, it's a real good sign that he was a part of those last round of cuts. Looks very good!!

High praise for Jones.

Pronman’s NHL prospect impressions: Who is already raising...

"I talked with the Tri-City Storm’s head coach Anthony Noreen about Zac Jones (D, New York Rangers), who was a top player in the USHL last season. He had effusive praise for the young defenseman who was a third-round pick. “He might be the most talented player I’ve ever coached. Kyle Connor is 1A, he’s 1B,” Noreen said of Jones. “He’s a modern-day defenseman. For him to put up 50 points as a rookie defenseman, while going up against other team’s top lines and killing penalties, I think New York is going to look like geniuses in a couple of years.” The main reason why Jones didn’t go high last season was some scouts were skeptical of his skating ability for a smaller player."

Also mentioned Lundkvist having an awesome start to the season.

I said this a few months back, and I think it is worth repeating:

When you see Jones, think Cam York, just not as far along in development.

There's a lot of similarity in their games.

That 2019 draft ain’t lookin’ too shabby

It was a very well-balanced draft. There are some picks that have higher floors, and then some big swings in the mix as well.

Both 2018 and 2019 are very promising drafts beyond the guys we took in the first.

If the 4 first rounders keep doing what they're doing, and we can get another 2-4 kids from the plethora of other picks in those drafts, that's a hell of a haul.

If anyone watches Lulea today for Lundkvist, make sure to look for Edstrom on Rogle. He's generally the 4LW though today he's listed as the spare, so he may not play.

I am sure its been reported somewhere already, but just in case, Ragnarsson and Rogle have parted ways.

Talangen dumpas efter fyra matcher

I hate Rogle BTW, always dislikes it when I see that our kids go there. They acquire a lot of kids from other places and just do a crappy job with them every time. Can't understand why kids still opts to go there...

I don't know the history of Rogle or anything, but for Ragnarsson it was pretty straightforward. His team was heading to HockeyEttan and he received an offer from an SHL team. Seems like a no-brainer. Disappointing he wasn't able to crack the lineup, though.

Almtuna was actually never demoted, a competitor went bankrupt.

He is prolly heading back there.

The problem I have with Rogle is that they have a bad/thin youth organization and goes harder than everyone else to get available youth. But there is always issues, they get many more kids than they need and a bunch of them always ends up in bad situations...

I know Pantern went bankrupt--my point was just that Almtuna was absolute trash and the opportunity to move to the SHL instead was huge. I believe he also signed with Rogle before it was known about Pantern.

I believe he is being loaned to Timra. @ManUtdTobbe mentioned it this morning.

EDIT: Now it sounds like his contract was terminated, so he can go wherever. We'll see, I guess.

He was about to be loaned to Timrå but they are at the loan limit, instead they mutually terminated his contract. From what i hear Timrå is very much in the Picture to sign him but nothing done yet.
