Robertson, Skinner, and Gross were all without a point last night. It was the first game for Robertson. Robertson wears an A.

Lundkvist has an assist after the 1st period, nice little touch pass for the assist but he made a more impressive move before 1-1 where he was dancing on the offensive blueline showing great patience keeping it in under control, didn’t get an assist for that though.

So Nico Gross, Tyler Wall and Nicklas Jensen will all officially be free agents if they aren't signed by the Rangers. For Gross, his deadline is June 1, 2020 (Juniors) and Wall's deadline is August 15, 2020 (NCAA). For Jensen, the Rangers would need to sign him before his 27th birthday which is June 30, 2020 (Retained European Assignment Rights).

He is shooting more, he has 13 missed shots, so while SOG isn’t super high it’s because of small sample size accuracy issues :P.

His PPTOI/GP is 1:44, 9th on the team.

Got it. What about low PPTOI/GP? I thought he was on the first unit in preseason?

I would assume the Rangers will sign Wall. However, with Hank, Georgie, Shesty and Huska ahead of him right now he might try his hand as a free agent. He should be the undisputed #1 this year with Lowell. So if he has a big year maybe he can create a market for himself.

My thinking is that Georgiev probably gets moved by July 1, Hank/Igor at the NHL level and Huska/Wall at the AHL level next season. But for that to be a good plan they all need to have decent seasons

That's a good point; it's possible Wall is the rare college player to spurn us, even if we're interested. I think you may be able to sway him by selling the idea that Hank will only have one year left and it's unlikely that both of Shesterkin and Georgiev are here long term. But, who knows. Marchessault felt he had a better opportunity in Columbus and we weren't exactly bursting at the seams with young forwards.

With Huska impressing and showing the kind of upside so many were excited about before he went to UConn, you very well may see Georgiev dealt although it will kill me. I hate moving these kids with Hank so close to the finish line. But shesterkin is not going to sit in Hartford for 2 years.

I think wall will get a contract and then don’t forget we do have lindbom who’s obviously looked at negatively here due to his drafting in 2nd round but he’s a good goalie. He should stay in Sweden a few years though

With this likely being Hank’s last season and uncertainty about Georgiev’s future with the team we need another “close” goalie in the system.

Where Lindbom was drafted was a mistake on multiple levels. Beyond that, it’s still up in the air on if he’s a good goalie.

He’ll be on year 3 of his his rights window before he gets a chance to show he’s an SHL quality keeper. Will have to be a lot more consistent this year just to get a chance next level up.

No sense writing anybody off this early, but he’s got a hard path.

They also are likely to sign Miller and Barron and possibly Lundqvist.

I assume they sign Wall. Gross, it will really depend on this year as last season he didn't do much in the way of developing. Jensen has refused on two occasions to sign with us so he's a goner.
