Would like some anecdotal evidence. (seriously, since I'm watching CBC and they've been fawning over Jeff Carter and the Kings 24/7...)

CBC announcers fawn over the team who has one of Canada's heros playing a team that played Montreal is not shocking.

Honestly, in the 1st two games that we played we've outplayed the Kings in every period except for the 2 3rds and I guess the second OT of game 2, we also got screwed in game 2 TWICE and BADLY. Game 3, the shots are misleading because we were behind for a while, but then again so were the Kings today and my guess is you won't give them a break. So yep, shots were 32-15 with 3 fluke goals in game 3. Yeah we sucked today but won. This series should be 2-2. Game 2 is coming back to haunt us.

Henrik Lundqvist in last eight elimination games at MSG: 8-0, 0.99 GAA, .968 sv%, 2 shutouts.

Sickening.

How does 1 goal that makes the score 4-3 Rangers gift the Kings a win??? The Rangers had plenty of time to close out that game and did not. Not to mention multiple OT power plays. It is 3-1 and that is the way it should be!

Because it doesn't matter that they COULD HAVE won that game either way, we like WOULD HAVE won if not for that call. They also got a gift on the winning goal. When you play a team of the Kings caliber TWO gift goals is usually good enough to gift them the win Also are you a Kings fan?

1) Happy we got the win. Glad we're not getting swept. The team showed a lot of guts tonight.

2) Hank.

3) Stralman. Guy needs to be resigned at all costs.

4) Win game 5, anything can happen. What a great season it's been regardless.

5) Girardi and Richards are done for this year. They don't have anything left in the tank.

We know it was Henrik who got this win.

Where do some players go some games? Where was Brassard tonight. Where did Hagelin's ferocious forecheck go?
Don't blame me for the questions, just too bad they have to be asked.

JR is awesome

I met him on 33rd and 7th tonight. A bit chubby, wasn't expecting that at all.

Also met Anson, Boomer, Dugauy, Fishler (again), Linda Cohn/Dan Lagrecca, Giannone, and a slew of old time greats at the hockey house.

After tonight, I am convinced Stan thinks I am a giant doucher.

Richards has been done for two years now.

Yay, a win. Nice job holding on there.

The Kings are, well, hard to play against when they do that. Really tough team to close out.

Gonna be tough to get this back to MSG but it's one game at a time.

Glad the Rangers didn't fold tonight.

Everyone stop ****ing talking about game 6's and game 7's.

Win the next game. That's all that should be on anyone's mind.

The Kings gave an extra hard push in the 3rd tonight. They did this in game 1, too.

Runners will know what i'm talking about in this analogy. It's like when you plan on going on a long run and then sprint the final leg of it. You completely lose steam afterwards. The Kings tried to finish the Rangers off tonight.

I don't want to hear anything about them wanting to hoist the cup in their own building. That's a crock of ****. They tried hard for the final 2 periods. The game ended at 11 tonight. By the time they're out and in bed it'll be around 1230/1. They'll have an early morning flight tomorrow. 7 hours. Practice the following day. No rest.

Goal is win game 5. Rangers need to come out with fire. Need to play good team hockey. This is the most important game of the entire series. It's not even an opinionated thing. The Kings will not be able to handle this if they lose. They had tired guys before game 3. Besides game 2, it hasn't really showed.

I don't think it'll show next game, because I think they literally will throw everything and the kitchen sink at the Rangers. Fend off this push. It'll be the King's final one. This is the Rangers game 7.

1 game at a time. Game 5 is all that should be on anyone's mind. Win that one. Focus on that. Repeat the process only after that is complete.

They're flying out tonight

Game 5 in LA will be tough but all you can ask for is the opportunity.Adversity provides opportunity for greatness. Glad the Rangers have the opportunity to keep the season going on Friday!
