We know it was Henrik who got this win.
Where do some players go some games? Where was Brassard tonight. Where did Hagelin's ferocious forecheck go?
Don't blame me for the questions, just too bad they have to be asked.
It really did end up changing the complexion of this series.
Tonight's game was as much of a Game 7 as Game 5 will be, oui?
There is one simple fact: They have to play better than tonight. Tonight's game hung on Henrik's play and some incredible bone-chilling LUCK. See those goal-line saves. Don't ANYBODY tell me that the Hockey Gods did not favour the Rangers tonight. The skaters did NOT play well.
That is FACT.
The goal gave the Kings life and then they outplayed the Rangers. Great teams overcome set backs like that. The Rangers didn't. End of story. Stop the excuses. Who cares, anyway. That game is over and in the books. Focus on the next one.
I'm not "hating" on girardi by any means but, Whether he's playing bad because of fatigue or injury, It doesn't matter. Either way i think he should be put on the 3rd unit if he can't pick up his game health wise.
KINGS out played us, we got lucky....
Here's the pretty amazing and fairly New York-centric CBC opening montage from tonight ...
to Pearl Jam's "(I'm Still) Alive"
The hockey gods favored the Rangers tonight. They favored the Kings on Monday.
Why can't AV put Moore on the first powerplay unit??? Get Richards off of there. Moore probably has the best shot from the point. Could have had another powerplay assist on a nice shot/pass that i believe Brassard redirected but Quick made a nice save.
Stralman needs to be on the first power play unit.
Why would we put a right-handed puck mover who never makes mistakes on the power play in favor of our worst player?
It will be interesting to see Girardi's bounce back game on Friday.
