It was well-founded a few seasons ago. I think it's closer now, but regardless, it isn't the Western Conference meeting the Eastern Conference in the SCF, it is a team from the West meeting a team from the East.
The Kings do not somehow accumulate the strength of the vanquished Western Conference teams, like some Aztec warrior mythology.
I tell people this and they just sound so stupid with that illogical BS about how could the Western Conference team possibly not lose?
 
Wins are all that matters. But if you say this series been all Kings just because you've looked at the final scoreboard than you don't know what hockey is.
 
The Rangers PP has sucked and that 3rd period in Game 1 was a pitiful performance by every Ranger except Lundqvist. The Kings have outplayed the Ramgers even though the games were close.

That said, who cares?? We won a game. Now on to the next!

It's my birthday in 10 minutes. I've waited nearly 20 years to the day to see a Stanley Cup Final win. I'm really happy. :)

Richter said on the radio that a guy missing from the scoresheet is playing injured. It's not Girardi, I just think he's gassed. And I wonder how Richter knows.
 
At this point any1 saying that 3-1 is representative of how the series should be is wrong and I wish to hurl insults in their direction. The NYR include Hank and they won game 4 b/c of him hence NYR deserved game 4 even though the F's did their damnedest to give it away. But the F aren't the whole team. Game 2 was a ref giveaway. Should be 2-2.
 
Richter had an awesome guest spot on Opie and Anthony. Richter is just a guy that everyone loves. Opie is a diehard Isles fan and he finished up the interview by saying "I wanted to hate you so bad but now I'm hoping we get you back here again".
 
Girardi is really bad this series. It's disheartening given his current contract. They may look to trade him in a season from now. His AAV isn't too bad though and most of the year he more than does his job so I'm not calling for it

No chance they trade him. One bad series isn't going to erase a very good regular season and career here.

I WILL say that they need to play him less. He goes well with McD, but he shouldn't be getting the same ice time as McD. They should work someone else up with McD every third shift or something.
