I would say the Kings were visibly better tonight. I can't comment on game 3, but I thought we outplayed them in the first period even though we were down.

Game 2 was clearly us. Game one was split 50/50.

I don't see how anyone could say the Kings have "easily been the better team in the series" unless they are just relying on the fact that they are up three games to one. :dunno:

Think the Rangers were better in game 3 only. Kings slightly better in games 1, 2 imo and of course outright dominant in game 4. Therefore I think 3-1 is fair.

My friend Bobby is quite happy right now. Lots of fans came together to get him to the game tonight.

I don't know how you can possibly say we were only better in game three. That's absurd. Kings better in game 2? I think you need to re-watch that game, my friend.

Before this series started the guys on NHL Radio SiriusXM we're saying that Lundqvist will steal you 2 games, can the rangers win the other two.

I thought the bigger question was whether or not Lundqvist could steal two with Quick on the other side. This was number one. I like our odds if he can steal one more at this point. Rangers can win 2 to LAs 3 if Lundqvist can get 2.

This!! Some people just like to boast other teams and give no credit to ours or bad luck/refs

I'd say this series has been more or less even through 4 games. But there's a recent hysteria over the West being in a different universe than the East.

Why do we exclude 2 periods?!?!?

Because hockey games are 3 periods long.

Saying the Kings have been extraordinarily better is simply incorrect. They had one great period in Game 1. If we win that game 3-2 in regulation, for example, LAK doesn't deserve a W because we were just as good, if not better, for 2/3's of the game.

Rangers were just as good, if not better, than LA in all 3 periods in Game 2. The refs stole the game from them.

Even if you wanna talk strict puck possession, Rangers could've won G2 and should've won G3. 2-2 series, right there.

.

Quick is not as good as Hank.

If anyone wants to read about Bobby's story, this article is a great read. Inspiring how people can come together, especially hockey fans for a fan who is dealing with a terrible tragedy.

Another thing to note...

Before Game 6 against Montreal, Bobby went to that game and had his sign up against the glass for warmups. Lots of players took time to read it. After warmups were over, one of the trainers found him in the crowd and handed him a puck and said "Dan Girardi told me to find you and to give this to you"

I get hard on Girardi for some of his play lately, but a move like that is classy and says a lot about him as a person.

They played an incredible game that night, and I hope that them seeing his sign gave them a little bit more inspiration to win that game, and bring us to the finals.

To be honest we could have won the cup tonight had things gone right in the first three, kings are lucky to have 3-1 lead right now.

Read an article on his story earlier today. Good for him, and very well done by all that donated

Right in the feels.

Wish him all the best in this horrible time for him. So great that hockey can provide some comfort.
