Yeah, they weren't going to go undefeated in regulation against sub .500 teams all season. They already won a few of those games in miraculous fashion, Ottawa, the first Arizona game, the second Flyers game...

Ironically, Richter’s number was also retired vs Minnesota.

Mike Dunham virtually shit his pants on the ice that night and we lost 4-3. Well I don’t really remember if Dunham was bad or not but I was 14 and I was there and Richter was my favorite player so as far as I was concerned Dunham was awful and everything was his fault lol.

Let’s hope we can beat Minnesota this time.

he is far from the reason we lost this game. Plus he takes faceoffs for that line which could be a big help. I honestly don't care if him or Kakko play RW for that line but it's painfully obvious he will put up more points than any other RW we have right now. I am sure Hunt, Gauthier or Kakko would have scored 4 tonight with Panarin tonight lol

I agree with most of this but singling out Morgan Barron, who has played 13 career NHL games and mostly been good, is a weird take.

You can't win in this league if your Goalies save percentage is .778.

Korposelo let in 2 soft goals and didn't turn it on until he realized Georgie was even worse than he was. The save against Goat was the only save he wouldn't be expected to save.

We absolutely would have won this game with Igor.

Gauthier’s white taped stick blade. (Why make it easier on the opposing goaltender to pick up the puck off his shot.)

Great players around him drew players to them and set him up with glorious chances and he didn't bury the bisquit. His only goal went in off his skate. What did he do tonight that was great again? And I like him....on the 3rd or 4th line.

I get it but every single game doesnt need to be a referendum on the importance of analytics and whether or not this team is a "true contender". The team is very young and clearly needs to make some additions, but cant we just enjoy this return to prominence for what it is? its tiresome

No way Kinkaid isn't better than this guy. Has Kinkaid even had a game as bad as any of the 10 Georgiev has had in the last calendar year for us?

Strome didn’t bury that chance next to the post and I knew he’d find his way to being the whipping boy tonight. Almost as embarrassing as the result tonight. That line was solid. Does the bottom six provide anything? Fourth line is what it is but with these injuries now, they have a third line problem. Barron>McKegg as a C with Rooney and Reaves I like. That third line is a mess right now. Fox needs to play tomorrow or I’m going to puke.

Georgiev let in one bad goal and he’s getting roasted here. Expected. I hate the guy but can’t pin this one on him.

They ran into a hot goalie while also not playing their best game. It’s gonna happen a couple of times.

Hope everyone is praying for Adam. That’s the only important takeaway from tonight. Hopes and prayers.

I didn't say he was great you said he was the reason we lost AND that he should have put in 4 goals. Let me know when another guy who plays on the wing with Panarin scores 4 goals. Hunt? Kakko? Gauthier? and honestly I don't care if the goal went off his pinky toe or his ass and in the net. I would kill for Kakko goal like that.
I am totally with him playing on the third line once we have our full lineup again. But then again garbage Hunt may take that RW spot. Then we will all be happy
I know who lost us this game. We all do.
