Yup killed it. Literally said everything this franchise needs.Man, we botched it. Coach Carbs absolutely crushed his debut interview with the Junks. I'm so jelly.
Just curious, did you watch the interview? Carbery actually said quite a few things you don't commonly hear in these.fellas, every coach says the same shit when theyre new lol
"we want to play with pace! a real possession game! there will be accountability! young players will get opportunities! we want to play strong defense especially in front of <goalie>!
come on man
Guy behind me in line at Booster Juice just said Drury is going to take over the coaching role for the team this season #ConfirmedWithLink
Where can you watch it? I don’t have NBC Sports Washington.Just curious, did you watch the interview? Carbery actually said quite a few things you don't commonly hear in these.

I’m not talking about hockey S. I’m talking about the nickname, bald, Hershey Park, and other bits.fellas, every coach says the same shit when theyre new lol

I’m not watching his press conference. Thanks anyway.doubleu doubleu doubleu dot nhl.com/capitals/video/intro-presser-with-coach-carbery/t-277437440/c-17450702

This is the best argument I’ve read for why it’s worth a shot. And how terribly bad the other options are of course!Roy is a guy who absolutely cannot stand losing. It drives him literally mad.
He forced his way out of Montreal over one bad loss. He lost his shit playing for colorado, famous clip of him skating the puck up the ice in the post above. Lost it many times on the colorado bench. This man hates losing with his entire soul.
This team has many players who could use a shot of that flowing through them.
We all saw it. No compete in big games. Disgusted so many of us.
Maybe Roys passion is his downfall, and maybe this team never wins a cup with him as coach. I dont know. But Id rather watch a team tear itself apart to the last whistle trying to win a game over the shameful disgrace we saw in games 4,5&7 against NJ. Any day of the f***ing week.
Pretty sure coach sniffles didnt say any of that. I think he said im not x and o’s guy, and lets keep it simple. I will meet the players in september. Then sniffled.fellas, every coach says the same shit when theyre new lol

He is too mean though, a lot of fans don't like that. They want the next Tom Renney who will quietly chew his gum in the corner of a 5-0 loss and let referees walk all over him and never dispute a call. This is the best argument I’ve read for why it’s worth a shot. Lol why do you post shit like this, you know literally no one wants what you describeHe is too mean though, a lot of fans don't like that. They want the next Tom Renney who will quietly chew his gum in the corner of a 5-0 loss and let referees walk all over him and never dispute a call.
Yes- basically every New York Rangers team since Mike Keenan and even he did not last long. This organization has got to have had more coaches than the average NHL franchise for the past 25 years.and the players will want him out by December. They will kick him out in the next 2 years anyways. Maybe the core needs to be broken up. This cant keep happening. Has this happened to other teams where the core basically got rid of 3 coaches back to back?

Some people actually liked Renney, and that is exactly what he did.Lol why do you post shit like this, you know literally no one wants what you describe
Yes it does- it’s called showing respect to the teams that earned he right to play for the cup and so you don’t have to be the 95th most important thing discussed in the NHL news outlets. Organizations want to think them hiring a new coach is this “newsworthy” event even though it happens around here about 9times as often as the organization wins a Stanley Cup.Cup final has nothing to do with us naming a coach. I'd be shocked if we don't have a coach by next week.
Showing respect? Again, you realize 2 teams already annouced their coaches this week, right? And plenty of other teams have made moves as well. You don't just sit on your hands because there are team in the playoffs still . Were you outraged that the Rangers didnt "show respect" when they made that massive trade a few days ago too? Lets be real and stop being so overdramatic.Yes it does- it’s called showing respect to the teams that earned he right to play for the cup and so you don’t have to be the 95th most important thing discussed in the NHL news outlets. What, are you f***ing kidding me? One of the biggest franchises in the sport, of the biggest city in NA, should "show respect" to the SCF teams?Yes it does- it’s called showing respect to the teams that earned he right to play for the cup and so you don’t have to be the 95th most important thing discussed in the NHL news outlets. That’s not during the cup final. Consider how absurd it would be and arrogant it would be for the Rangers to think anyone would care about who they hire as a coach if they do so during the most important series of the season. It’s absurd and selfish to do— the only way they do it is if they want to bury who they hire which of course they won’t want to do. Like I know you believe the entire hockey universe revolves around MSG and this beloved franchise but ummmm no that’s not in fact true.Showing respect? Again, you realize 2 teams already annouced their coaches this week, right? And plenty of other teams have made moves as well. I never said my post was fact- I said “they must have”. Not “they have”. So relax their buddy- I took the time to find a link to show what I was trying to say. Deep breath- it will be ok.No we havent. I posted it a while back this year but we have had 8 coaches since 2000 which is exactly the league average. Stop posting bullshit and trying to pass it off as fact.
Here was original post
I went and looked at every team except vegas and seattle and counted the number of different coaches they had since the 2000-01 season. This includes people that were there for parts of a season, but does not count coaches who were re-hired after being fired. It is strictly the number of different people behind the bench.
The league avg for the 30 teams was 8.4.
The team with the fewest was Nahaville with 3x the team with the most was Flordia with 15.
Total list.

I did this fast so i might be off by one or two here or there especially if teams had the same person coaching in non consecutive years. But i tried my best.
Oh and the isles technically had 13 but AL Arbor coached for one game and i think that was for a special day so i did not count him.
Edit: i must also say that this exercise was interesting in seeing the amount of retreads around the league. I felt like some coaches coached at least half of the league at one point.
I’m hoping this is sarcasm but it’s hard to tell around here these days given the general comedic level most of the posts considered “good points”What, are you f***ing kidding me? One of the biggest franchises in the sport, of the biggest city in NA, should "show respect" to the SCF teams?
f*** that. Make the announcement when you wish. Just for shits, make it in the middle of the game so the panel has to talk about it.
