Yeah, I can also read the numbers, thanks. The same numbers said he was the second-best player on the ice in the Dallas game and I thought he looked better in this game, personally. I wasn't asking for someone to regurgitate numbers for me.

For someone who thinks others can be confrontational here, you're a funny dude.

I don't know if these charts are right or wrong in proving anything, but I do know that people often cite them as proof when they match their opinion but dismiss them when they don't.

Good gutsy win; they aren't all going to be picasso's but good teams find ways to win these types of games. The Torts era Rangers were the best team I've ever seen at winning games like last night; just find a way to get 2 points. They looked a little like that. Defended really well and Igor did the rest

Question: what does this coaching staff see in Dryden Hunt? I get it's only 3 games but from what I've seen this dude is an offensive black hole and isn't even good on the forecheck.

Him on the powerplay needs to never happen again, like... ever

Hunt is a solid fourth line player. He fits in well with Rooney and Reavo. Usually fourth line players don't get power play time.

I haven't referenced any charts until my last post to you. I didn't ask, "Can you show me a chart?" I asked if the person thought Miller's performance last night was atrocious--because to me it was very good.

A solid fourth line player has to have an impact on the game, even if it's miniscule. Reaves was the exact definition of that last night. Drew 2 penalties, had a great scoring chance, took the body.

Dryden Hunt looks like Brett Howden 2.0 by my eyes

Miller has nothing to do with MTLs goal. Miller and Trouba have switched positions. All 5 players on the ice shall unconditionally shift positions with each other if someone is forced out of position.

Miller drives his guy wide. Trouba comes over to support him but they crash into each other. Since Trouba loses his guy, McKegg leaves his guy, Drouin, and the rest is history.

I would blame Trouba the most of him and McKegg, but lol, what the heck should Miller have done??

I think Miller is coming a long really well, and I especially hope that he isn’t held back and asked to cut down on risky plays. That will smother his development, I fear.

Also, MTL have had a crappy start and will probably have a crappy season. But a few things. They do a really good job at taking away your space on the defensive side and they get going really fast the other way if you lose the puck against them. We struggled a bit last night, but like I don’t think it was because we didn’t play well. MTL made it hard for us and they can do that well when things are going their way.

I like how our team is looking so far. Love Blais. Love Reeves, someone called me out for questioning his play before we got him, I was definitely wrong. Better than I expected. Like Hunt. Nemeth has been better than I expected.

Need more speed and a smaller quicker forward.

You actually could go back to the neutral zone turnover by Dryden Hunt, if he chips it off the boards instead of trying to make a move, than there is no goal.
But once that happened and the puck was in the Rangers end, the major gaffe was McCrap who like you said as he left Drouin wide open. That was Rec league defense by McCrap

Panarin is tremendous despite being tired. He is finding players so well with his passing.

But honestly, he is in crappy shape.
You would think he would be in the shape of his life moving all his family's furniture to America over the Spring and Summer .

Hunt wasn't that effective last night, but in the Dallas game he showed everything he can bring to the lineup, he was exactly what you want out of a 4th liner.

Chasing your man out of position is not a good habit.

I don't think that's what he was doing. Defensemen follow their guy around the net all the time, it' a very common ply, most of the time it's to prevent exactly what happened...
Miller wasn't out of position, he had switched coverages with Trouba, that was his guy, he was doing what he was supposed to. He got picked and his partner and center lost the guy in front

There was no switch, both he and Trouba was on the same side, below the goal line.

Should there have been better support with a forward coming back harder, yes, but that doesn't excuse the roaming g out of position.

Defenders should not be picking up individuals when defending a 2 against 3.

Stay in your lane and let the attackers criss cross to their hearts content

Nope, I just checked the replay, they had switched.

Trouba comes over and bumps into KAM. McKegg let’s go of Drouin to pick up the guy that breaks away from Trouba, and Drouin scores.

KAM is taking a lot of unwarranted heat.

I don’t know how true this is, but if there’s any truth at all to it, I am pissed. A lot of the drama surrounding this team over the past couple of years is centered around Georgiev, and the guy flat out sucks. If he is dragging down the performance of others, causing talented players to get shipped out, AND sucking at the same time, I mean, what are we doing with him?
I was given a top 3 list of least liked guys on the team when I was with a few players and sources. Georgiev and Gauthier were on that list. ADA was very well liked in the locker room, but he forced Gorton's hand.

You’re nuts if you aren’t happy with that win

that’s the type of gutsy ugly 2-1 win we never got under Quinn. It’s the type of wins you need to make the playoffs and how you win once you get there. Montreal has been a pain in the butt for a lot of teams lately playing so tightly. I’m thrilled.

I loved mikas game too he was a horse

Shesterkin played like the Shesterkin I expected last year and didn’t really get.

kreider has been very good.

I’m excited to see Barron get in there. I’d hope he’d slot in the middle but with kakko out he may slide to wing. We’ll see

Hunt is a 13th forward at best.

Miller Trouba have been great. Some posters here I’m not sure who they actually like not named Fox. Everyone else to them is shit lol

I think we’re kinda spoiled by Panarin. It seems like it’s a familiar site to see people complaining about him while he’s still producing lol. I think it’s because he’s the level of player where he’s playing his own game rather than necessarily playing a team game within our system, so he is prone to mistakes. He stays on for shifts really long sometimes, tries skating into traffic so he can dangle around multiple players, throws very high risk passes, etc. but most of the time it works.

Still he has 2pts in his last 2 games, if you read other teams GDT’s they’re in awe with him. I was watching the Rangers vs Stars game with my uncle and he was impressed with all of Panarin’s passes on that PP and saying how creative he was, the player he thought didn’t look good was Zibanejad
Panarin has like 2-3 great setups a period it feels like. NO ONE is finishing.

He obviously isn't 'prime Panarin' right now but he's still making plays.... If he only had an attack/aggressive mode.. like Kucherov
