I've been to YS many many times, you can see clearly from anywhere. why would u watch it on the tron?

Because the field is set-up in the shallow outfield. If you are too low to to the field, the height of the boards and the angle will make it impossible to see.

Yup. Only way you're getting that price is if you're a STH and can get them at face and even those tickets will be the ****tier ones. Secondary market will be a lot more than that.

well I agree you will pay more if they are 2nd handed.. but through ticketmaster ,I can't envision them being that much.

there's going to be very little, if any tickets sold to the public on ticketmaster.

This too. Devils, Rangers, and Yankees STH to an extent have to be covered and then the NHL offers tickets with travel packages. I think they had a lottery for a limited number of tickets at the Winter Classic but it was pretty much impossible to get your hands on them through that route.

exactly.. devils STH get first priority, then rangers STH. you have to figure there are a lot of seats set aside for the NHL.

there's 50,000 seats in the new stadium. lets say 14,000 go to the devils, 14,000 go to the rangers, and 7,000 go to the NHL for sponsors/luxury trips. that leaves 16,000 seats.

about 5k will probably be donated to local hockey groups because they are the closest to the field and will have terrible sight lines. you have 11,000 seats left for devils and rangers partial holders, and yankee STH and partial plan holders.

there's no way this even gets to the public in the form of a ticketmaster onsale at all

You pay almost $100 per on the secondary market for regular season games, this will be $250+ on stubhub.

Unless face value is $200+, I don't think Stubhub pricing will be that high. There are a lot of seats at Yankee Stadium, many of them bad for hockey. Plus there are two games, and the weather will be sketchy.

I'm guessing face will range from $125 to $650

these were the prices for the winter classic in philly.. i think face prices are a little cheaper this time around since there are two games.

The stadium will be full and the tickets will be $$$

Full for sure, there's no way it doesn't sell out, and the Yankees are going try to get top dollar. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to force to buy some Pejorative Slured strip that includes some other event nobody wants like the pinstripe bowl. Probably not, but I'm sure they would want to
