Game Winner was on Boyle too.

Way too soft on defense there. He's not goo defensively, and one of the reasons for the 5 on 5 powerplays

We dont need OFFENSE (KREIDER) We need more slow USELESS players like pyatt!!!!

You guys might want to actually watch the play before you comment on it. The puck didn't even get to Hank...

Well, that may be true but it's been a problem all playoffs. Hank's rebound control is just not good at all. Brutal at times Not the reason we lost the game in OT or anything, but, in general, it is something that he seriously needs to address.

Game six doesn't matter, this team cannot win on the road. They're too passive and a bunch of ****ing pansies.

0 goals from out 'captain'. 0 goals from our 'offensive star'. Every year it's the same ****ing story. I'm sick of the Rangers being a ****ing mat in the first round against the Capitals, who haven't even been that good. The Rangers just give them so much ****ing time and space. It's sickening.

Moore is at fault on that OT goal. Should have easily been able to cover Ribeiro.

Moore got injured

Oh, give me a break. Already we start with this garbage minutes after a 2-1 OT game?

------

It really drives me crazy that we lost this game mainly due to the Boyle penalty. That ******** call completely changed the tone of the game and tilted the ice for the Caps. I mean, it's annoying that this team didn't overcome that, but ****. That one horrible call ended up being the x-factor.

Really wasn't a BS call, the retaliatory penalty is always called. Boyle needs to keep his cool there.

Hurt or not, Nash is making dumb decisions with the puck. He needs to shoot the puck instead of trying that ridiculous back to the net move that never works.

This team just ****s itself over every game with their ******** on the powerplay. Congratulations, 1 good powerplay that didn't convert, then a handful of ****** ones where the best scoring chances went to the Capitals. One ****ing period of effort and two periods of unadulterated slop hockey.

It's days like this that actually make me a little jealous of bandwagonners. I'm stuck with a team that makes the bottom 5 every year, and a team that pulls this apathetic crap effort in a playoff series tied 2-2. Richards, Nash, Stepan, and Callahan are all pissing me off. All 4 of them are not showing anything near what they should be.

Offensively, too conservative on the forecheck. Defensively, too passive on Caps point men.

I am not going to blame the players. Our game plan sucks.

Nash is obviously hurt. Too much Boyle.

You might want to read my statement before you comment on it. I didn't say he was at fault on the last goal - it hit someones leg and bounced right to Ribeiro. I said in general in the overtime he had been giving up rebounds/bobbling almost every shot at him. And I also said he had also made a bunch of great saves in OT (that kick save on Perrault)

They just looked gassed. The depth issue missing Staal seemed really noticeable this game.

no they don't.

that's how they play.

It's how they have played in all three losses and during long stretches in the games they won.

They play a passive and timid game.

THAT IS THEIR SYSTEM

I'm doing all I can right now not to scream....my wife is sleeping.

The problem is all systemic and the fact that Richards blows.

The only reason that ******** penalty was called was because Ribs fell to the ice like he was shot and the scum bag refs didn't call his scum bag ass for diving. That was disgraceful. I said it at the time it happened and I am saying it now.

Refs have been calling retaliatory penalties all playoffs long. Boyle needs to know that. Not saying it wasn't embellished, because it was, but Boyle CANNOT put himself in that situation, especially with what's going on at the other end (odd man rush for the Rangers). He gave the ref an opportunity, and that call is made 100 times out of 100.

I'm happy he scored, truly. But **** him.
