Oh, and we’re gonna see DeAngelo, Skjei, Stepan, and Fast lift the Cup this year, aren’t we? Smh
You realize that the preseason is not real life, right?Guy scored a hattrick last game of the preseason. He has obviously been snake bitten this year. And been playing with not very productive linemates. Went on a 4 game point streak playing with Bread and Butter. If he returns to the 2nd line, he will produce. Unlike Kakko or Hunt or whoever.
. Love how our fans overreact after one bad game. Nothing went right for us last night it happens in a long season. Move onto the next gameOh, and we’re gonna see DeAngelo, Skjei, Stepan, and Fast lift the Cup this year, aren’t we? Smh
All the hate on the young kids when the veterans have been dog shit is hilarious
Lindgren, panarin, strome have all been crappy lately

Somehow I missed all that. Oh well, at least then it makes sense, because a management decision to let him go didn't make any sense. This has been discussed as nauseam here. It seemed like he wanted out. He was offered a contract. He didn’t take it.

This I agree with, the more I watch strome the second he gets the puck he’s looking for panarin, sometimes that pays off, but most times he’s forcing passes that aren’t thereThe issue isn’t so much Strome in my opinion it’s that at center he has the puck A TON and he always looks to Panarin. That line could really use a somewhat talented but more gritty 3rd wheel who has a good 2-way presence. Ideally that player would be a center and they could slide Strome over to wing. He would then be a backup C option throughout the season in case of an injury somewhere.
It's not a system issue.
It's never a system issue.
It's not an effort issue.

It's a personnel issue.
It's always a personnel issue.
If it were a system issue, you'd be saying it's the coach's fault. That was the excuse with Quinn. Now, it's Gallant? Really?
When a team isn't the Cup winner, it's not a coaching issue.
Before the season, we all hoped the Rangers would get into the playoffs. They're playing better than everyone here thought they would. Now, people are upset that they are not the best team in the NHL That makes zero sense.
On paper, the Rangers are loaded with top-end talent. On the ice, not so much. Laf and Kakko might become top-end talent, although I'm pretty tired of Kakko doing almost nothing while his two linemates are pounding in points.
Too many fans just can't face the fact that another team just might be better than their team and from what I've seen, that Carolina team could very well be the very best in the league. They are loaded and if they have an achilles heel, I don't see it.
I woke up this morning and realized that I'm still a Caesar. It's almost 10:30 AM EST.....at least we're not talking about David Quinn, Jessiman, McLirath #SmallWins
Who influences that, though? Panarin. Hea a fun scorer. Plays fun hockey. Fun guy. Enigmatic personality. Attempts a backhand 50-foot pass from the blue line on a cycle play against a good defensive team last night. Not the guy I'd go to war in the playoffs with. This I agree with, the more I watch strome the second he gets the puck he’s looking for panarin, sometimes that pays off, but most times he’s forcing passes that aren’t there
it’s frustrating watching those two at times because that line should have a more talented player

Defending Adam Fox is worthwhile & noble, but nobody on planet earth owes the Backstreet Boys an apology.
He didn't muster anything in the play-in round. So far as a Ranger, he's disappeared in many games against good, tight defenses. He likes to slow things down when the game continues to evolve faster and grittier. The flaw in your theory is that Panarin has proven to be a good playoff player.
He was turning it around. And then was switched to a different line.Remember when Kakko scored 2 goals and everyone was like "hes turning it around!"
I fear it's an org problem...Strome and Panarin's super-chemistry is so grossly overrated.
It's so frustrating how caught in the stone age this team is. Having your goalie bail you out every night is not the same thing as playing good hockey. We're retiring Henrik's number in a week. What a joke that we're committed to the exact same gameplan and kicked him to the curb the way we did just so we could reload into another stretch of selling prime assets (and/or cap space) for aging, overrated veterans and blaming our goalie for letting in 3 goals on 45 shots.
