find it funny so many of you are concerned about "crying" islanders fans. they got a point out of it, are still ahead of the us in the standings, and seriously outplayed and would have won if not for hank. i don't think they're crying about anything right now.

Yeah... we were awfully lucky to get the two points. They deserved that in regulation. I 100% agree with the Islander fans. Only the most optimistic Ranger fans who don't want to see the facts would see that we didn't have insane luck to win this.

Rangers are still top half in the league in 5v5 Corsi and Fenwick. And they have the best goalie in the league.

Again, you use Sabre stats to prove a point while ignoring the ones that don't prove your point.

Hence why they are useless in hockey.

I disagree that our D was solid.

I thought they played hot potato all night with the puck and were soft on the forwards.

I thought the whole team played like crap aside from Hank

Rangers D was scattered most of the game. Some good individual effort from some of the Dmen occasionally.

But the Rangers were abysmal protecting the slot through large portions of the game. They only seemed to start settling down in that area around half way through the third period.

Hank was the reason we won the game.
