Imagine If Biron got the start tonight...

Just sayin' we worship The ground that Henke Walks on..

This team hasn't played a good game since Pittsburgh. Luckily, the Rangers have Henrik Lundqvist to give people a false sense of hope and extend Torts' reign of error.

I'm not sure I see this as a "lucky" win. When you have $7MM invested in the best goaltender in hockey, you are going to win some games exactly this way. The Islanders may have been a shade better than the Rangers but the ice sure wasn't tilted.

I wish more people would realize this. Hank is phenomenal positionally. He's not going to give a lot of net to their shooters. As a goalie, he outplayed their offense. Which is what we expect from our best player.

This. The past few games they have looked gassed, sloppy and sluggish but somehow are getting points. I guess that's a good thing? but they cannot continue to play like that and expect to win, it is going to catch up to them.

The mentality that Torts is the only problem provides just as much false hope as the team getting points does. It'll all be alright once Torts is gone, right? The reason players can't consistently pass to another player 4 feet away from them is because they're being coaching wrong. That's just as unrealistic as the thought that scraping into the playoffs is going to lead to a cup victory.

I'd like to personally thank Bob for tonight. He removed a comment saying shutout earlier (to stop the flaming), thus preventing the jinx. He should receive just as much credit as Hank

If this is the case then Hank still has yet to record a lone SO. :D

Soak it in Hank, you beautiful magnificent savage. You stole this one. No team wins convincingly through a season. I'll take the 2 points. Wish it was in regulation though.

Edit: My Ron post was not deleted. Thanks for those who followed the saga.

No better way for a Henrik SO.
