3 stars:

1. Kreider - just all over the place, creating so much. Price robbed him 3 times.
2. Talbot - so calm and cool in net. The team played near perfect defensive hockey in front of him, but he came up when they needed him to. Now 8 goals allowed in 5 games. Impressive.
3. Falk - throwing him a bone, this could have been Callahan or Richards. Very pleased with his game tonight, he was sound in his own end, made some nice plays to keep the forecheck/cycle alive a few times, and was nasty in front of the net. Keep this guy in the lineup, please.

The announcing corps was exponentially more prepared and mistake averse without Sam there! :shakehead

So Lundqvist can actually be fresh for the playoffs now. Cam Talbot could easily play 25 games or so this season and relieve Lundqvist from time to time. This was by far Talbot's biggest test so far.

gg guys my 3 stars would be

1-Kreider ( didnt score but was everywhere on the ice creating chances, hitting etc.. )

2- Price ( another solid night for Carey but like always the offense cant score )

3- Talbot ( great game for the rookie, tbh had no clue who he was wen i saw the starting line up and called AV crazy for not starting Henrik against us but worked out great and Talbot was solid in net )

i know the rangers are normally horrible at the bell center but yall played great tonight, could of easily finished 3/4-0 if it wasnt for Price

His presence is essential, you raise a great point. Our biggest problem with the playoffs were our crazy March and April schedule and that Lundqvist got extremely tired in the postseason. With Talbot, it could definitely take some pressure off his back.
