Lindgren is very much a Quinn type of player. I think he makes it as the 7th D tbh.
Haha I literally just posted this in the other thread. This should set bells off for him. He’s a pretty close comparison
Hes going with 45.I was wondering if he might switch his jersey number to [null].
He acctually had 25 in 84 without the pp time Tony had. Definitely a comparableis it though? 19 points in 57 games is comparable to 30 in 61?
I hope the first photo released is a picture of the rock with Andersson's head photoshopped on it.
The odds aren't in his favor long-term. However he's pretty much ready, whereas we know Miller and Robertson won't be here, leaving Reunanen (who probably leaves for this season), Hajek, and Rykov. I'm not sold on Rykov being totally ready. Hajek? Maybe. But Lindgren could win a spot this year, and a lot can change in one year's time. Some of these D will have to be moved eventually. It's not always the lowest-upside guys that get traded; the other guys have potentially more value.
No one really thought Sauer was in the long term plans until he got a chance and ran with it. He might still be here of not for the injuries.
Damn. I smell what the Chad is cooking.
Yeah DeAngelo is not going to be here beyond this season.
All jokes aside, that's partly my point. Staal was a huge part of our defensive core, and until the injury, there wasn't really any reason to think he wouldn't be for at least another half-decade. We can write off Lindgren, but then Miller could tear all the tendons in his knee and never recover and Rykov could randomly decide to go back to Russia. Hajek could struggle, and then we're pinning our hope on Robertson and Reunanen to fill the left after Staal is gone. Or we move Skjei, etc. Lots can change. So Lindgren is definitely a dark horse, but his near-NHL readiness could help him this year and in turn down the road.Marc Staal would still be here if it wasn't for the eye injury. Oh, wait...
I'm not going to write off anyone. Like you said, anything can happen. Having a stacked pool and letting them battle it out is a good problem to have. I like Lindgren. And I don't believe guys like Rykov and Miller can step right in at the NHL level. All jokes aside, that's partly my point. I still believe he ends up with another organization, but I don't think it's impossible that he carves out a spot here moving forward. He's a guy that Quinn will like.

i would rather have taken a chance on that type of player from Europe in a men's league like a Zidlicky type for example. those players have more potential in my opinion
Boo should be gracious that he was a 2ed round pick and still on the NHL roster. with most NHL organizations he would still be in the AHL. awful player

Canada huh?
Almost made it.
He’s not really wrong. On a playoff team he doesn't sniff a roster spot unless of injuries.![]()
The kid is very good in the AHL and is more than capable of being on a bottom 6 in the NHL....
