You know, the more I think about it, if Kreids took a MONSTER cut below market; the friendliest of all team friendly deals for 5 years and took the C, I would not be opposed to a thought like that ...
Sounds like the Kreider Chytil Kakko line is having a day

Leslie Treffs twitter said it at least. Not sure if that’s there they got it. She gives a lot of tiny updates on the players and drillsWhere did you see this?

You can't stream or watch the replay online? Can anyone get this into a Dropbox or similar?![]()
Does Ronning still exist?
How is it the Yotes and the Knights have their first preseason game today? Don't they have training camps? LOL
Are they playing in Europe or something? That is crazy. Really is
This is too funny. And I would not be opposed to Jessica Biel wanting to date me.
Soup hairs made me spit out my drinkAs I’ve said I’d love nothing more than for Lias to serve me a huge bowl of crow. I’d eat it with a smile on my face.
Having said that I think Howden is the much better player but it looks like Andersson is getting the first real look with the two soup hairs namestnikov and Strome.
If Howden and Kravtsov have to start in Hartford because of those two guys I’ll be livid. But it’s looking more and more likely that one of Howden/Lias will start down there and most likely Kravtsov. There just isn’t room. Nieves is definitely going to waivers and Hartford.
McKegg will be the 13th or the 4C

Yup, and he's up against savages now. That hit was great. Textbook safe, so close to the boards and square into the chest.
As @BobMarleyNYR says, it was a favor. Gotta get used to the contact. The sooner the better. In fact I bet he and the coaches asked for more contact.
Although Kreider provides a beast factor that is currently unmatched [KK a worth add there], I am open minded about moving him. But what has to be acknowledged is that an extended Kreider, whether kept or dealt, is worth more than an unextended one. That is the reality, and most other factors should capitulate in order to realize that profit and avoid that loss [if we go the other way] of value.
Skjei commanded what he did, God bless him.
We did not know we would have what we have now, and sure, there is likely to be growing pains.
I would have jettisoned Staal and kept Shatty, made another cap move or two, and tried to bring back Claesson as a cheap 1 yr stopgap.
And Deangelo had to mature.
We could not move him for substantial return, until now, he at least fetches decent ++ value.
But now that this is the current situation, we should go THERE.
Fortune favors the bold, at least usually.
Also I am for a 4-5 yr CK deal, not 6 or 7.
Age is not good for a game that favors a younger man, usually.
However Kreider is a remarkable athlete and barring unforeseen injury will continue to have an extended prime in his early 30s.
This is atypical of most players.
Also, there is plenty of room for both to grow, and Skjei's game has varied with systems and quality of partner.
Off hand he is probably our best skater, especially backwards, pivotal for D coverage.
But with some more experience, I think Hajek very soon [a year ish] will match/eclipse as to an overall game.
