Despite the inconsistencies and dry spells, when was the last time you could truly say Kreider was a detriment on the ice for extended periods of time? The 2017 playoffs maybe?
He’s been getting the job done for years now but people will still whine that he should be a 30/30 player, when in all likelihood he will probably be one if/when he plays for another team, if he ever becomes one at all.
Maybe if he goes to a team like Tampa and plays with Kucherov and Point.
