Honestly, that will just escalate into more potential injuries and stupidity for both teams. Besides, no need to go there. Even if the Rangers are forced to use two AHL players, they'll still win the series.

I think Miller gets plugged in for Stepan if he can't play with Kreider and Nash, and then as the game progresses, you shift Boyle to C and Miller to LW on the 4th line and insert Moore with Kreider and Nash for defensive purposes, that's if Brass plays.

Canadien fans are beyond delusional. How in the world can you say that this is payback for what Kreider did to Price? Seriously. Kreider got hacked at by one of YOUR slow d-men, and fell down. It was a damn accident. Stepan was blindsided plus it was late. This was a dirty play, should be suspended for it.
I have more respect for any Boston player than Montreal player. I've also seen more respect from Philly fans than Montreal fans.

Fact of the matter is, this is a series. It's a battle. Stepan's down, okay, it's a tough blow and all, but next guy in line has got to step up. Moore did a good job in Brassard's absence, it's time for Miller or whoever it's going to be to step up in place of Stepan. It's a tall task, but there is one goal here, and that's to win the Cup. Got to be able to play through adversity to win championships. Losing our top center here is going to be difficult, but no one ever said it would be easy. Next guy in line has got to step up to the plate and come up big.
Canadiens lost their best player in Price, and they beat us last night. If they could lose a top player and still win, so can we.
If we fold and fall over because of this injury, we weren't meant to win. It sucks and all, but great teams win through great adversity. One focus, one goal, one mind. Let's go now.

Truth. The penalty for these bad hits haven't been bad enough to deter players from doing it. Eliminate a top line center and sit out a game or two? That's a good deal for a scrub like Prust.
Harsher penalties and loss of salary is what will deter it.
The Rangers need to stick to their game. Don't target anyone. Not sure I would play Miller on the top line, but then again I don't want to break up that Pouliot/Brass/Zucc line either.

I mean seriously, there is no possible way to look at this, see Kreider lose his right leg in video because of it, and not comprehend it was a trip. That is all fine and dandy. The odds of him blossoming into a "star" in these playoffs are slim. Very slim. Even if we make it past Montreal, losing our top 2 centers means we will get annihilated in the finals.
