That is all fine and dandy. The odds of him blossoming into a "star" in these playoffs are slim. Very slim. Even if we make it past Montreal, losing our top 2 centers means we will get annihilated in the finals.

you have to hope that adrenaline gets the best of him for the next couple weeks

1) We don't know if we've lost our top 2 centers for even the duration of this series. Don't look ahead, focus on the next 2 wins and then we can think of another team.
2) I don't think him realizing his potential is that far off. He was a ppg player in the AHL and given a chance on the top line with a guy he has chemistry with (Kreider), I think he may actually show decent production.

I can't recall being this angry about a situation before. And so angry w/ the Canadiens fans for their insistence on creating their BS bubble where somehow Kreider's fall makes Prust's hit and Brassard's injury a-okay.

I really hate all these people and don't think I can watch the series anymore. Hopefully the Rangers go 2011 Bruins on these low-life trolls and rout them in Game 4.

The refs were so incredibly terrible, I fear a legit fix was in. Definitely have the feeling the Refs will continue to look at Rangers with ludicrous scrutiny rather than actually call a straight game.

Do we have any evidence that Brassard isn't going to be back and ready to play sooner rather than later?

Rangers need to make this a 3-1 series. They also need Brassard back, especially now. They can't let this kid and his teammates believe he's the second coming of the 1986 Patrick Roy.

I'm telling you, it was...

That explains why Bettman "went out of his way" to state "what a wonderful organization NYR is". Looks good to the media right? No WAY they would ever fix a game against a team that is SO wonderful and respected right?

Just the skeptic in me coming out. I think Bettman wanted this to go to 5 so that he could get one more games' worth of revenue out of Montreal. Considering they are the last canadian team (and canadian teams makes lots of $), it would make sense

Sad to hear you won't be watching any more games.

Prust wasn't penalized on the dirtiest hit in this series even though the Habs were talking about how Kreider hurt Price on purpose. You'd think they would keep an eye on Prust and all the other goonery, but no call on that and no calls on Subban waving his stick around. Unbelievable.

Open your ****ing eyes. I would be ashamed if I was these refs. Absolutely embarrassing to see guys who are so bad at their job.

NEED to win Game 4. I think my head will explode if they don't. I LOATHE this ****ing team.

At the end of the day, the rangers missed so many good opportunities last night, it should have been a 4-1 game. Conspiracy theories won't change the outcome. I'm just in awe of how hypocritical and delusional the Canadiens' fans are on their board.

Miller has shown me nothing in his career with the Rangers to make me think he is a worthy replacement for Stepan

Then it would make sense for it to go 7.

One unconfirmed report from a blog stated that there was someone in the stands with a laser. Supposedly he used it to make the puck bounce when the Rangers had it.

I agree, and I am NOT saying that the rangers lost solely because of the refs... however it was a major factor for the first half of the game

Also agreed, but who else is worthy to take the spot? We can't break up the lines we have right now otherwise we risk killing the scoring depth of the lineup. Better off taking one guy and slotting for another instead of mish moshing everybody around

I want nothing more than Brass to come back in Game 4 and put up 3 points to bury the Habs, followed by a Kreider 4 goal game in Game 5 where he pulls a Joe Thornton in center ice.

In fairness, they missed tons of calls on us too. The refs were just abysmal overall. There was one ****ing game last night. No reason not to have the best referees and linesmen on the ice.

I have things to do, I've been angry since last night! It's ridiculous. I can't take more of that, and I suspect some more might be coming. The Rangers aren't so good they can keep rolling along w/out 2 scoring centers. Plus, Canadiens have the green light to pull dirty crap and the Rangers know their retaliation will earn massive suspensions.

Hockey works as the wild west, or properly officiated. When it's in between it's unbearable. It's like one set of rules for the special class and another for the Rangers.

If brassard can come back for game 4, and be effective, we have a fighting chance. If we are down 2C for the duration, it's hard to see how the rangers find the emergency hatch to the finals.... We'll know by Sunday

If the Rangers can't use this Step situation as motivation for game 4, I don't know what will get them going.

They should come out flying and crashing the net.

Complete BS game. NYR outworked that garbage team all up and down the ice and the refs couldnt be bothered to call anything on anybody not named Gallagher. Ridiculous.

Slewfoots, slashes to the back, Late hits. The Hab way.

I guess they have been taking notes from the Penguins and Bruins. Idea is just not to get caught, or do it so often that the refs can't possibly call a penalty every time without the home crowd rioting.
