This idea that the board is going to revolt if Jones doesn't make the means exactly what? A lot of never ending angry posts from some of the same people?......and to what end? To bore the shit out of the rest of us? I thought Zac did have a good game though but so did Libor.

Really no one played bad for us. Some might have been less impressive. Of those in the lineup I'm pretty sure that Sykora, Welinski and probably Garand are the least likely to make the team.

That's gotta be one of the best preseason games I've seen them play in years. Pretty low baseline though. But really, NHL preseason is for chilling with your bros unless you're on the roster bubble.

Krav just looked nervous on the PP. It happens. All of a sudden you find yourself out there with the likes of Zibanejad and Kreider, you start gripping the stick too tight and trying to force plays to them instead of not overthinking. Hopefully we'll see him get more decisive if he gets more looks on the PP.

Jones was out there with the same guys and looked smooth as butter.

FWIW I don't think he looked nervous. He just made bad decisions. Not the end of the world.

Game was sloppy, players were rusty, but I'm still gonna critique the hell out of this game.

Miller and Jones were by far the best players on the ice. They both looked like they were in mid-season form.

Kreids and Zibad had jump, and didn't show any rust.

The rest were Ho-Hum at best. Othmann has some talent, but he is still a year away in having a chance to crack this lineup. The big disappointment was VK. He was pressing, making bad decisions, and lost his helmet twice. What's up with that? He looked lost. Schneider was invisible as Jones partner. Chytil wasn't bad, but I know he can be so much better. He can be a star on this team. His 7 goals in the playoffs was only behind Zibad and Kreids. I think that is just a taste of what we might see this year.

Defensively the team played well, keeping them to the outside and clogging the middle. That's always a good thing, that and a win. And Shesty looked good.

All in all not a bad first game.

His brain is too big so the helmet kept popping off.

Kakko looks quicker, stronger, and more assertive with the puck. Definitely more confidence.

A full off-season of smashing that cute chick definitely helped him. I’m just worried he might have opened up Pandora’s box. Let’s hope so cause I’m want to see him play like an actual man instead of a bitch.

Well there goes my appetite. Lol
You haven’t lived my friend. There’s more to life than pizza.

Edit: Missed the flaming dogshit part. Nvm. Carry on.

My honorable mention: The prima donna himself, Mr. Kravs! I actually really liked the space he created and his unselfishness with the puck. That was our best Offensive line all night. Chytil and Jimmy looked good.

Jones looked like he took a step forward and Schneider looks like he took one backwards.

Miller is starting to make a case for me getting a new sweater. f***ing love that guy.

Othmann is going to be a stud. Tempted to have him stay, but also don't want to rush him like we did with our other kids.

I know, I know... it's preseason, but there were a lot of positives!
