Ugly win with 3 turnovers that kept the broncos in the game. But they were able to run out the clock executing a 4 minute offense.

think the Raiders control their own destiny. Tied at 8-7 with bal and LAC with possibly Mia as well if they beat NO in MNF.

raisers play chargers in week 18. So if they win out will be ahead of them.

bear Bal and Mia. Though in a 3 way tie that may not play into it. Mia has a tough final schedule.
But playing Indy is no easy task. Heavy dose of Taylor.

Colts just put Wentz on the protocol. He's not vaccinated, so baring him just being a close contact, he's most likely out and it would fall to rookie Ehlinger. But, this is a Raiders team that barely beat Cleveland's 3rd string QB and Denver's backup in the past 2 weeks.

Take care of the ball and make the rookie beat you. Stack the box vs Taylor.

Hopefully both teams win this weekend vs the Colts and Broncos to setup basically a win and you are in scenario next week for the 2 teams. Only one of them can then get to 10-7. Raiders win this weekend, means that the Colts at best finish at 10-7, so they end up in the tie breaker situation for the WC spots. Ideally want NE to beat Miami to take them out of the playoff race to leave them at 9-8.

Raider's AFC record, if they can get to 10-7 would be wins vs (LAC, Den x2, Bal, Pit, Cle, Mia, Ind for 8 wins with losses to KC x2, LAC, Cin for 4 losses). NFC record would be wins vs Dal, Phi only with losses to NYG, WFT, and Chicago. Can't believe that they lost all of these 3 games vs Jones, Heineke, and Fields, 2 of them at home.

New policy makes it likely Wentz will be available unless he's symptomatic. Omicron comes in fast and leaves just as fast it appears so most of the players on the list early in the week probably have a shot at playing on Sunday.

But he won’t be allowed to practice this week. So that could hinder him.

Raiders win in a last second FG vs Indy.

Win and in vs LAC next week. Too messy to go through all of the various tie breakers situations at 9-8.

Early leading contenders for Raiders coaching job

Speculation of potential head coach candidates.

Probably not going heavy into search until after season.
If the raiders got a new stadium in Oakland I could see Shaw, but I believe he and his family love NorCal so he’d probably only take the SF job if it was open at this point.

if this season has taught Davis anything is that he needs a coach who can get the players to stay on the straight and narrow. Also involves drafting the right personalities.

vegas is not a great place for young men without discipline. Ruggs, Arnette, and Hobbs (being plastered and passed out in his car in a hotel parking lot after the Ruggs accident is a bad look).

Indy lost and Pitt win. Anything but a loss tonight gets the raiders into the playoffs.

What a crazy end. Raiders makes playoffs first time since 2016!!

Opponents for next season set. 8 home. 9 road.
Raiders’ list of opponents set for next season
So that extra game 17 is against the NFC South. They play the AFC South and NFC West next season.

Get the Patriots and Steelers and Saints as the 2nd seed schedule.

KC gets Buffalo and Cincy and Tampa Bay
LA gets Miami and Baltimore and Atlanta
Denver gets Jets and Browns and Carolina

Vegas would have swapped those additional opponents with LA if the game ended in a Tie.
