And he's the only defenceman in that group with a Q in his name.
you forgot the "g" and "h"

It doesn't need to be said for everyone to know that it's true.
It's also not like their careers are over though and for all the guys crapping on Dahlin and Bouchard from that draft I think they will end up having excellent NHL careers.

That being said Hughes has risen to the top of the draft with his breakout starting last season.

The Dahlin fan boys generally have a hard time accepting that someone else in this league is good though.

But I agree. Lots of good Ds in that draft.

I know people don't think much about this but (and probably laugh at it)

Quinn is the quickest (in fewest games), youngest LD to 100 assists, 200 assists
and to 300 points* ever in the history of NHL

* currently 3 points shy

If he gets another 40 assists this season (like his season pace would suggest)
he would get to 300 career assists the quickest in the NHL history by d-men
in first 5 seasons of hockey.

Bobby Orr 280 assists
Quinn Hughes 300 assists

My favourite thing about Quinn Hughes is that he always looks like he's sad. He could score an OT winner and still look sad.

That said, he's incredible to watch. I've been to 6 Canucks games this season, and I've never enjoyed watching a defenseman play as much as I enjoy watching Quinn Hughes play.
I love that about him. Never seems to get too high or too low.

on pace to become the highest-scoring D in Canucks history at age 25, and in 500 fewer games than the current record holder, Alex Edler

he's on pace to reach that mark about 100 games from now, or some time late next season
