Quartefinals are set:

A1 Russia vs B4 Canada
A2 Switzerland vs B3 Germany
B1 USA vs A4 Slovakia
B2 Finland vs A3 Czech Republic

Also, the semi finals are reseeded based on the group placement and points. If all four 1/2 seeds win it will be A1/B2 and B1/A2.

I have a bias so I'm picking Czechs over Finn's (if I wasn't czech I may pick differently). 3-2

Slovakia over US (also a bias... The US team looks awesome and could win this but I've been cheering for the slovaks the whole time... I'd bench pospisil.lol). 4-3.

Canada over Russia ... 2-1

Swiss over Germany in a heartbreaker but I think this Swiss team is damn good. 3-1 (en goal)

My picks may be different if I was gambling but I'm going with my heart.haha

Exactly! Only major surprise is no Sweden which is first time since 1930s they haven't been in final 8 and first time since 92 tournament format change they haven't been in quarters. The good news for them is that they have amazing players, over 100 NHL ers, about 8 first rounders coming in next draft and a killer best on best squad ready to go. I think they'll be just fine.lol

Mostly pure crap vs Canadian NHL-Star Teams. But vs average canadian teams, Russia has Russia good chances.

They always don't play well against Canada, no matter what players they have. I don't know what it is, some mental block or something. We'll see. Obviously, if I just look at player quality, Russia should take it but hockey isn't only about lineups.

There are some exceptions like a relatively recent 6-0 win over Canada (I believe it was WJC), but yeah, that hasn't been occuring too often.

Not guaranteed as the semifinals are reseeded. The final could be Russia/Finland if the US loses to Slovakia.

I always cheer for Canada, but I do not see them beating Russia. This Roster for Canada is weak, and I am just
happy they made it to the QF, thanks to Germany beating Latvia.
