99% sure Kakko belongs. I'd add Haula too, he'd improve the PK. Old timers Filppula and Koivu can pass the torch already... Borgstrom and Puljujarvi get camp invites at least but regardless I'd play Aho with Teravainen for their obvious chemistry. On the D I'd add Valimaki, maybe Niku, not sure of the others in NA.

He had the benefit of a long time to get the roster really together as a team, but then, that was his deliberate coaching choice too, so I count it as a merit.

I said early on that Sweden is loosing this game. I thought for a while that Sweden would get away with it due to individual skill, because that's all they had going this game. All of Swedens goals was pretty much individually skilled performances. Congrats Finland you made us look really stupid this game. Hope you win against Russia.

I agree. This story probably won't end the same way, but oh man what a story this has been.
Some of us saw this coming this is my post on the first page, Midway through the game, I start to cheer for the Finns they had everything Tre kroner missed this whole tournament. Heart, Hunger and solid gameplan (Jalonen)

Finland was a damn Juggernaut for most of the game, we just kept on coming! I still can't believe we we're able to bring that kind of dominance with a roster like this.

You can't possibly believe that. At what point is the goalie supposed to make saves. Why have a goalie when your defense should do all the work. Should they be wearing the goalie mask as well?
Speaking of nightmares, Raipe U20 will be my next nightmare but a championship hangover is our thing anyways in juniors so who cares if it's Raipe taking the bullet or someone else.
I think I just ruined the moment.
On Raipe's defense, gotta remember he has a small part in this WHC's coaching staff. Maybe he learns from this and it gives something to the U20 team next season.
