You can't possibly believe that. At what point is the goalie supposed to make saves. Why have a goalie when your defense should do all the work. Should they be wearing the goalie mask as well?
I blamed Hank for the 1st and last goal (just his angle, shot was sick) The middle 3 though, none of them were on him and I’m a former goalie. Hank isn’t the reason Sweden lost.

So now that the brave Finnish Lions beat the Gladstone Gander of Swede in good manner, I hope that in the futuring of the tournament the Swedes will remember who is better of the neighbouring countries :)

Considering that Sweden won gold in 2017 and 2018, I'd hold your recency biased horses a little bit.

Also, quality-wise the game was awful, but as a Finn it was great to watch because of all the emotions. I understand if our NA friends didn't see it that way. I know I have a problem to watch even SC finals if there isn't a team or even a single player I'm rooting for. (Not a problem this year, go Tuukka!)

Indeed. Oh my god what a long, bleak nightmare that was.
It truly was. But can you even imagine how some very blind and stubborn people at www.jatkoaika.com were seriously defending him, his playing style and his choices of players? Pokka over Jokiharju was for example absolutely awful. Just one small example though. It was by far the weakest and worst spirited Finnish national team hockey that I have seen in decades. Just plain awful - thank God we got rid of him!

I didn't get to see the game, but it sounds like this is one of the most embarrassing losses for Sweden in a long time?

Regardless of the score, which team controlled and dominated the game more?

We will have a good coach for U20 only a year after Raipe. We can suffer for one year.
Why is Raipe so hated as a coach? I understand that he lives with old merits as player, but still? Is it tactical or mentality wise, both?
Hannu Jortikka type or what?

Oh man, the simple joy of aftermath and hindsight like reading this Aftonbladet journalist Wennerholm's complacent title Svenska tigrarana kommer äta upp de tandlösa lejonen, in English: The Swedish tigers will eat up the teethless lions - turning in few hours to Ett av svensk hockeys största fiaskon någonsin - One of the biggest fiascoes of Swedish hockey ever! Hilarious :D Tabloid journalism at its best, enjoy after sweet upsets.

He's trolling and doing the over excited Finnish hockey fan schtick. I refuse to believe anyone's English would actually be like that. "Futuring tournaments"..geez
I know, I know. But same narrative everytime the Finns wins something. And somehow, after everything the Swedes always comes out as the arrogant ones in the eyes of a lot of Finnish people. I guess that will never change haha

Well, Lundqvist said to SVT that he thought Sweden was the better team after the loss? Don't want to write it´s typical for swedes or anything, but compared to Finnish mentality it´s quite rare to claim something like that after a loss. Especially when it´s clearly incorrect. Finns don't like to make excuses or point out they were the better team if they lost the game.

True, but I'm not claiming that swedes can't be arrogant.

The swedish stereotype to a lot of Finns are the "Stureplan bättre folk" so that would explain it

Gronborg can kiss his NHL dream bye bye. Useless decisions in this tourny and he fails to fire up the players, fails doing changes. That he played Louie Eriksson thru the tourny should disqualify him from any further coaching.
