Sweden were missing more of their best players than Finland actually. But yeah, that team still should've beaten Finland.

None of Finlands WC players would fit our A-team. Thats 0. Maybe, just maybe Jokiharju because we lack D

What a battle. The way they fought and climbed back and completely overwhelmed Sweden in the last half of the game was awe-inspiring. Another Finland-Sweden classic. These games are just pure heart and raw emotion. What a sports treat!

HPK to a championship long time ago. That was a totall underdog team back then and hard working team. By the way the assistant coaches of Jukka Jalonen in this tournament are the head coaches of the two finalist teams in Liiga/FEL this season, so they are not nobodies either. We have a very strong coaching staff in the tournament now. Strongest of all teams.

Manninen still looks ridiculous. Couldn't love him more atm.

He has been an absolute beast! And Pesonen has also been an excellent hard grinding and skating forward. Kakko was amazing in his first three games, and above his linemates and has been still playing quite well. But now it has honestly been Manninen clearly taking the lead in that line. An absolutely dominating game from him really. And he was very good in most of the games in the tournament already before this. The line is really good definitely altogether.

What do Swedish fans think of the reffing in this game? It looked like everything is allowed.

It was surprising that the game didn't get physical at all. Didn't see practically any good hits there.

The typical refereeing where they have a huge impact on the game by being afraid to call penalties. Which of course favors the team that steps over the line more. And in this game, that was clearly Sweden.

Offensively a one line team. Gotta give credit to the defenders for scoring 3 goals today from the blue line and again world class coaching staff. The other 3 lines grind well enough and at least they aren't leaking in our own end too badly throughout the tournament which gives us a chance to win. Lankinen is all right in the net as well.

Jalonen is best coach we ever had, regardles what happens now on. By far. The team spirit and work morale is great in his teams. And upset track record is amazing. If he was american or a canuck hed no doubt be nhl great nhl coach.

I hope to god that his contract gets extended. I only want JJ leading our national team.

Dude Finland is missing atleast 50 of their best players.

And it's not even total amount, i mean players like EP, Klingberg and OEL equals like two lines of 3-4th line NHL'ers. Same goes with guys like Aho, Barkov and Rantanen.

It is ridiculous when some people call this Finland B-team, when in reality this is like D team with one A class player.

Yeah. Poor puck support, bad breakouts, way too much dump-ins, actively trying to spread out the play which led to our players being way too far from each other, weird line combinations, awful ice time distributions, no in-game adjustments.

This was a game where the Finnish team was more than the sum of all individual parts, as a well coached team should, and the Swedish team was significantly worse.

I actually felt embarrassed watching that game, when it looked like we would win. I'd take it, but it would have been embarrassing.

Almost everyone probably thought that Sweden would have that extra gear for the playoff games and the group games were just a warmup but apparently not. I for sure thought so.
