This must be the best post in history.Sweden were missing more of their best players than Finland actually. But yeah, that team still should've beaten Finland.

I count 13 that would've made the team, all in all higher quality. Lehner, Backstrom, Zibanejad, W. Karlsson, Backlund, E. Karlsson, Hedman, H. Lindholm, Forsberg, Arvidsson, Nyquist, Johansson, Johnsson.
My reaction too. Finland b team? This is c, at best... Liiga teamWell ummm..
Just noticed this GDT has about as many pages as the other three QFs combined. So, yeah. What a battle. The way they fought and climbed back and completely overwhelmed Sweden in the last half of the game was awe-inspiring. Another Finland-Sweden classic. These games are just pure heart and raw emotion. What a sports treat!
Loui has some hold on him.Could hardly belive it myself. What was Grönborg trying to proove ???
Did he coach any team in Finland?
He has been an absolute beast! And Pesonen has also been an excellent hard grinding and skating forward. Kakko was amazing in his first three games, and above his linemates and has been still playing quite well. But now it has honestly been Manninen clearly taking the lead in that line. An absolutely dominating game from him really. And he was very good in most of the games in the tournament already before this. The line is really good definitely altogether.Manninen still looks ridiculous. Couldn't love him more atm.
Maybe Jalonen had a mix up when he announced the roster so we may have a seriously stacked team at the next EHTMy reaction too. Finland b team? This is c, at best... Liiga team
The typical refereeing where they have a huge impact on the game by being afraid to call penalties. Which of course favors the team that steps over the line more. And in this game, that was clearly Sweden. What do Swedish fans think of the reffing in this game? It looked like everything is allowed.
It was surprising that the game didn't get physical at all. Didn't see practically any good hits there.

I hope to god that his contract gets extended. I only want JJ leading our national team.Jalonen is best coach we ever had, regardles what happens now on. By far. The team spirit and work morale is great in his teams. And upset track record is amazing. If he was american or a canuck hed no doubt be nhl great nhl coach.
Dude Finland is missing atleast 50 of their best players.Sweden were missing more of their best players than Finland actually. But yeah, that team still should've beaten Finland.
Yeah. Poor puck support, bad breakouts, way too much dump-ins, actively trying to spread out the play which led to our players being way too far from each other, weird line combinations, awful ice time distributions, no in-game adjustments. Why are people discussing what players were missing and what team they could’ve iced? This version of team Sweden should beat this version of team Finland 9/10 times or more, period.
Finland were better coached and played with more heart and that was it! Sweden had trouble vs every competent team this tournament.
Would you consider it outlandish to replace, say Donskoi or Lehkonen, with Kakko?None of Finlands WC players would fit our A-team. Thats 0. Maybe, just maybe Jokiharju because we lack D
Laine-Aho-Rantanen

No points for Kakko but he was on the ice for all 4 goals for.
