Now we know that whoever gets eichel in the draft shouldn't expect him to carry them to the playoffs. His attempts to do too much remind me of Duchene when he's snakebitten.

Eichel will never be the number one pick after this tourney. He wouldn't pass the puck if his life depended on it. Whoever picks him has a big schooling job to do. I don't think he's NHL ready as of now. Skill wise, yes. But his overall game has to change to play in the NHL.

Sour loss for the Americans, didn't have much finish. They were fine 5v5, but were never visually impressive. Tough week for a lot of guys

Larkin and the goalie were the two best Americans by far for me personally. Losing Santini really hurt an inexperienced defense and the big name forwards underwhelmed.
