Simply put, USA failed because they elected to bring too many young and inexperienced players. That inexperience showed with all of the penalties and inability to come up when it counted.

US? You really need to get your act together.

Lots of respect for the US team. Russia wasn't there in the 3rd period, the Americans were consistently dangerous. The win doesn't feel like a comfortable one.

Eichel was very impressive and some of the U.S. forwards are very skilled at stickhandling. The U.S. deserved more than a quarter final loss.
