Where's the analytics for measuring desire and wanting to win?

Because Finland will overload those statistics...like a cage opened and bulls hounded you for 2 periods.

Like why the hell was Sweden standing back for 2 entire periods.
They were getting pounded at every turn. Maybe some of their guys didn’t like that, and stood back?

Soderblom Sweden’s player of the game? He had a dope goal and a few nice shifts, but come on, Raymond was clearly better.

Also, not having Raymond as a top 3 Swede in this tourney is nuts. He’s been pretty consistently their top player. Who chooses these things???

I thought Raymond was a little quiet at points but hes near the top of the tourney in high danger chances and leading it in shots. He was the Swedes best player in the most important game (I thought he outplayed Soderblom tonight). But even if because he was snake bit you dont wanna name him a top 3 player thats fine, but Soderblom won 2 players of the game and doesnt even get named top 3 lol?

Very weird selections for sure

You need to see the golden triangle. Lundell-Heinola-Pennanen.

This is Lundell's team, he lead by example. True captain. Heinola stepped up huge when needed, when he started to play other D-men grew few inches taller when they saw that hey, hockey can be fun too.

And Pennanen, how he made this team play after devastating start, dumb penalties and no-goal. Players didn't lose faith but actually fought like no tomorrow.
I must say that the longer the tournament went, the more i doubted this team. But the players you mentioned stepped up big time and they never gave up. A guy like Petman need to get some praise, even if he bottled that big chance, he played so hard and had a big presence, not only on the ice.

Wow, I’m listening to the Swedish head coach... guy is freaking crying and talking like he’s a fan rather than a coach.

I know he was not meant to be head coach but Jesus!! I can see this is where we were lacking, leadership!

And thats why we keep losing.

What an end to the game, I feel sooo happy. Cheers to the Swedes for being a good sport and not complaining about the lose. It has been a while since we beat you at this level. 2016 I believe?

I still don't think the this team Finland will make it to the finals. Bronze would be the ultimate achievement this year.

This is why I wanted Sweden to win. I don’t like the US - Finland matchup. Soumi sisu scares me. But first, my Team USA have to beat Slovakia...

Finnish supporters went surprisingly quite.
Assume they are out hacking a hole in the ice of nearest fountain, in their underwear.
We didn't make up any reasons to complain about the team for once.
Don't worry, the next game will make us mad again.

Bad coaching.

To paraphrase the legendary Giovanni Trapattoni, "A good manager can make a team 10% better, but a bad manager can make that same team 30% worse."

There's a lot of individual talent on that Swedish team. I'd say at least 10 surefire NHL players. That coaching staff wasn't able to leverage it.

Because we know this team is a train-wreck.
