Looks like this might be one of the most boring offseasons in recent memory. None of the teams want to make big moves with the knowledge cap is going to increase next year.

It's possible it will be more in-house cleaning. Some of the RFA's signed. I think they'll sign guys for Laval.

Killhorn isn’t any good, anymore. I wouldn’t give him anything. We always want to pick up elite team’s cast aways and then wonder why we will never be elite.
Alex Killorn is not elite of course. But good teams need a couple of solid vets who still contribute.

Killorn scored 27 goals and 64 points last year for Tampa, tied fior 4th most on the team. He was +18, second most on the team.

In the playoffs he scored 3 goals and 5 points in 6 games, 3rd on the team.

Why do you say he is not good anymore?

To me, he looks like a good candidate for a short-term contract to allow the Heinemans, Roys and/or Farrells time to develop in Laval.

It seems to be mutual,

we don't like talent, and talent doesn't like us,

If a hometown boy in PLD didn't want to come here, then we shouldn't expect any other UFA's to want to come here,

Unless it is there only option
What is this new narrative that PLD did not want to come here?

He wasn’t a UFA, it wasn’t for him to decide.

We gave Lekhonen for Barron an a nhler , Barron has yet to show how to play defensively

Gurianov was just cap dump also
The claim was we don't like talent. Barron is a first round talent and so was Gurianov. How does their acquisition not confirm that the Habs are willing to gamble on talent?

Puljujarvi id give a try. Same age that our forward group. Big and physical. But sucked hard last year. Could St-Louis develop him? He did good in Sweden.

But we are packed already. Too much players signed for us to give a chance to someone else
He is getting double hip surgerry this summer. Dont touch this with a 10ft pole.

I find it funny that all these players that the leafs sell the farm for never sign as UFAs in Toronto.....lol......they've burnt through alot of picks for nothing.

Why would you say that? This past season was the best of his career and the last two seasons have been the best ever for him and he almost nver misses a game. He actually would've been the hab's leading scorer last season. Excellent player who is getting better with age,I would definitely sign him for 3 years if possible

It was said by both himself and his agent that he choose the Kings "because they wanted him more" and they worked for a deal from there.

What do you expect him to say in the press conference after the sign and trade, that he much preferred Montreal ?
