Tuned into this game just because I didn’t have anything better to do. Wow I’m glad I did that was an awesome game.

Kind of the same here. Glad I tuned in for the 3rd, great action and drama. Congrats to Team Sweden for reaching deep. What a gutty win

Quarterfinal day is always my fav

Lindbom was incredible. He is the goalie of the tournament and would be in the running for MVP if Bedard didn’t exist

Also. Carlsson. Ice water in his veins. He’s been subtly great in this tournament. Wasn’t subtle today. Whoever picks this kid will be elated

There's only so long Carlsson and Lindbom can carry this team though so it's time for others to deliver if the team doesnt want to be out classed once again in the semis.

Has Lambert gotten worse? His rookie tournament he seemed to be doing everything well. Now hes hardly noticeable.

He was never a really good player. In the lower level Finnish juniors he scored some points because his skating was above most of the others. He has never had more than below average hockey IQ, and his skills arent that great even otherwise than the great skating. Hockey isn’t a skating competition, although great skating can of course help a lot if you have otherwise good skills as well. But no skating in the world will compensate for the lack of speedy and smart hockey brains.
