Coach Quinn trolled Fast on the 1st line and 1st PP unit - I don`t get it in the last pre season game. He will troll us the whole season when our top lines start to struggle to be productive - Jesper Fast, oh yeah save us baby.![]()
Yeah that’s what I’m kind of thinking. If we’re looking at them like wingers then Kravtsov is better than Chytil. If we want Chytil to be a center than it may be best for him to be 1C in Hartford.Chytil should play a center if he get sent down - I don`t like him at the wing at all. Kravtsov should get 3rd line wing minutes, Fast on 4th line.
And he went to the AHL where the game is slower and was really good. And it was a big thing for him for most of last year, but by the end of the season he was playing really well and got injured. And now David Quinn seemingly wanted him to be able to carry a line by himself if he wanted to play center, which isn’t crazy that he’s not able to do it yet. Is he the only player we can’t be patient with or what?He wasn't thinking he game fast enough two camps ago.
He turned 20 like 3 weeks ago, so no I don’t find that troublingDon’t you find that troubling? In preseason games no less. What happens when we introduce the intensity and speed of regular season, or postseason, games?
I think the final team looks like this:
Bread-Zibby-Buch
Kreider-Strome-Kakko
Lemieux-Howden-Chytil
Namestnikov-Andersson-Fast
McKegg
Skjei-Trouba
Staal-DeAngelo
Hajek-Fox
Smith
Lundqvist
Georgiev
There will be centers available in the top 15 in this year's draft. Decent center crop overall. High end wingers will go top 5 again. Good defensive depth but no consensus #1 defenseman in the draft like Dahlin two years ago or Byram last year. They need to draft more #centers if Chytil can`t get top 9 mins. this season.
One step at a time lolDon’t you find that troubling? In preseason games no less. What happens when we introduce the intensity and speed of regular season, or postseason, games?
See my above post. This isn't what I want the team to look like, but what I think it will be. If we're going off of solely my evaluations, my team is in the above postNot sure how anyone could have Howden over Lias at this point.
I’m just saying ... you’re not going to be the next Einstein if you’re failing Newtonian mechanics. One step at a time lol
Too soon to tell. His mettle will be tested when he has a team full of actual NHL talent to manage. He has a long leash this year. Starts to get a little tight if no playoffs next year, in the hot seat the year after if no playoffs at all in the following three years starting with this season, just IMO.Although I was a little more impressed with the defensive zone coverage tonight, DQ is not an NHL coach IMO
FTFYNo matter what _______ does with ________, they will be wrong, says HFNYR.
It's time for you to go to bedSo basically we have a Rangers team like this:
Panarin - Zib - Kakko
Kreider - Nam - Buch
Lias - Strome - Kravtsov
Lemiuex - Chytil/Howden - Fast
Skjei - Trouba
Fox - DeAngelo
Libor - Staal
Smith
If you had a time machine I would hope you would go back in time, win a billion dollar power ball. Use those winnings to make even more money in the stock market. Then buy the Rangers and draft all great players because you will know who they are so we can win 6 consecutive Stanley Cups.I wish I had a time machine so I could go back to the start of last season and post, "We'll be trading Spooner for Strome so he can center Kakko next year."
No matter what Quinn does with the roster, he will be wrong, says HFNYR.
