GDT: Prospect Tournament - Leafs vs Blues at 3pm

Duszak's ability to defend will always be in question but he can certainly break the puck of of his own zone and makes a great first pass.

Duszak is insane, he can get you out of your seat one minute and make you want to throw things at the tv the next

Abramov not having a very noticeable game which surprises me. He's centering a good line but hasn't gotten to influence the game at all. Maybe he just doesn't get to show his game at C and needs to have some games at W.
 
Good news is the kids look ready. They came out strong, got an early lead, then took their foot off the gas in the 2nd and lost the lead.
 
Only seen about 10 minutes (after Leaf Prospects made it 2-0) but we need to do a lot better job defensively. Right now we look like our familiar Leafs "folding up like a cheap lawn chair".
 
I am happy our main D prospects are not here in Sandin, Liljegren, Neimela, etc. Because these ones are not good.
 
SDA looked legit in that first pre-season. He is not going to be an NHLer. Shame.

he and hoefenmayer are the only 2 on D i was interested in seeing. i like mccourt, too, but he's not dressed today.
 
Voit getting manhandled. Guys with frames like McKenna, Voit, Kressler are going to have a huge uphill battle to make the show.

Really liking how Douglas moves. Bit sloppy with the puck so far but it's ugly hockey. Fight in the 1st and some good forecheck work. He has a future in a checking role.

Abramov looks raw and could use some work on his first step from early glimpses.

Robertson clear standout and best player. Steeves looks polished but his skating will definitely limit his impact once camp gets more competitive.

No surprise there. He will fight for a roster spot.
 
I've really liked Robertson, SDA, Steeves (despite an awful giveaway), Abramov, Hellickson, Duszak, Villeneuve and Scott so far through 2.
