3G 5A 8P in 5 games. Seems like the extra time with Josi is rubbing off on him. Molendyk and Sward in top 5 for dmen in scoring so far with less games played then those ahead of them. Granted Sward is almost aged out of the AHL but still a positive step for him.

Correction: aged out of the WHL not AHl

Really great to see from Molendyk since one of the big knocks was his lower point totals last year. I think being put in a more stay at home role last year may ultimately be a great thing for his development.

Gonna need to keep an eye on Fink. Was really curious to see if he could keep up production rates in the NCAA. So far 3A in 3 games.

Kinda has a feel of when Philly picked Claude Giroux. "Who we picking? Ok, him." Poile was not expecting to have this pick.

Well, Giroux was still a highly-touted player who was picked in the 1st round. Things move very fast in the later rounds, though, and I can well imagine our scouts having Fink ranked in the 100-ish range, and kind of throwing a "blanket offer" out there to any team who was ready to throw a pick into next year to give us a chance at guy we had ranked way above the 7th round. And we had the "in" with NJ. Sometimes teams don't even feel like they have time to process those kinds of offers, and just go ahead make their auto-picks off their lists anyway. Nice that we got this one in! :thumbu:

Fink train still rolling
1G 4A in 5 Games

Haider looking good in goal after 3 games
.941 sv% 1.30 GAA

Molendyk slowed down some only
3G 10A in 8 games.... tisk tisk tisk

Wood 3G 1A in 6 games. Bit slower production than last year but playing Center vs Wing and still really early. Extrapolating out a whole season when you only have 17% or so of the data is dangerous.

Concerning Trend: MajorRegression from the prospects

- Wood

- Kemmell

HF would be a lot more fun with a dislike/facepalm reaction, wouldn't it? I mean, more entertaining. The way things are going downhill here, when does it just become better for viewership numbers to give up and simply go for the cheap thrills like that? :dunno:
:sarcasm:

Man, I hope a lot of your posts are just trolling. None of these guys have played more than 6 games in this season. I mean come on, Kemell has played in 2 freaking games and Vange has 3 points in 6 games and we're talking about regression.

I think Evangelista just showed that it is far to early to be talking about regression. All it takes is 1 multipoint game and most players are right back on track. Regression concerns can start about half way through a season.
