To be fair, even I could rack up points on a powerplay that featured/features McDavid, Strome, Debrincat, etc.

27 points in his last 29 games without McDavid on the team.

But yes, that powerplay is lethal.

Interference is what it's called when you do it too heavy and get penalized for it. I'll assume you played forward then, it's something defence do much more regularly

I've still never heard it used before and can't find any information related to it. I'm aware of several defensive tactics, but never heard that. Coaches have always frowned upon standing still because crap like that goal might happen and it just seems like it puts you out of position and is a high risk play. Sure something like that might work along the boards or behind the net, but to attempt that in open ice is idiocy and asking for trouble.

Whatever though, I could care less to continue arguing this anyways, I'd rather watch the prospects.

Good period for Canada. Announcers are cluing in that Marner and Strome don't actually have any noteworthy chemistry. Barzal looks significantly better than he did against the Czechs. Sweden's depth doesn't look great yet, but as a team they still look dangerous.

Doesn't Strome like to slow down the play aka J.Thornton while Marner likes to speed things up?

Wonder if they do split them up, who'd get pushed down to the 2nd line.
