No joke, Gabriel has been one of the best players on either team tonight.
I'd be okay moving Mikheyev for a draft pick and signing Ho-sang to league minimum contact. Either way I hope we sign Ho-sang to a Marlies deal and see what he can do. Hope he gets in 4 of these 6 pre-season games and we (and more importantly management) can see what he's gotI think Ho-sang makes it too. I truly do.
Say what?! Clearly you aren't even watching the game.
He really was not.

Ho-Sang is quite skilled, you can see it. But you can see how his tendency to try and make a slightly more complicated soft play that doesn't work has probably put him in the dog house in the past. Not going to make a judgement on Game 1 of pre-season either way. It can be a double edged sword to be a skill guy who wants to stand out and make skill plays and not your meat and potatoes stuff. But how do you earn trust?
Skated hard, threw hits, dropped the gloves and even scored a goal. What the hell more do you want from a guy in a preseason game? Lmao

he's only on a PTO right nowHe is signed to an AHL deal
he needs to keep it simple... but like you said, too early to tellHo-Sang is quite skilled, you can see it. He's on a PTO unless he got a deal during the game dude...that nobody else has read aboutHe is signed to an AHL deal
Feels good man.
A lot of positives.
Nylander, Muzz, Brodie, JT all look sharp.
Goaltending was steady.
Bunting looks like a player out there. Doing a lot of good things.
Ho-Sang started ok. Late in the game he became a bonehead.
So did Kerfoot. He had an embarrassing game.
Mikheyev was the usual no scoring touch but good defensively.
Robertson, Engvall, and Liljegren looked ok.
Just ok.
Gabriel needs to work on his fitness.
*Sandin.Engvall did not play today and what did Kerfoot do wrong exactly? He actually did a lot of small things which allowed Muzzin and Nylander to have the kind of chances and points they had today.
Send him to the highest bidder. Robertson, Ho-sang, Anderson, Brooks coming for his spot. All guys that'd be happy with bottom 6 minutesDon't call it a come back!

Gabriel is a role player for sure, he brings that toughness and enforcement that we need (old school and a dying breed)... but expectations need to be low. if he scores, it's a bonus...Skated hard, threw hits, dropped the gloves and even scored a goal. Very poor skater, lol, I don’t seem to notice until they don the blue and white, could never take a regular shift in the playoffs,He really was not.

His hands are far worse.yeah his poor skating was the biggest thing about his game that stuck out tonight. Which is unfortunate. Seems like a good guy and genuinely excited to be here
I love that he digs pucks, is always around the net and is a master of the stick lift and strip move. This kid is gonna be a top 9 mainstay for usBunting looked pretty good. He’s 26 so what you see is what you get. Not sure if he is good enough to stick top 6 for a contending team. Hopefully
