Realistically we’re going to end up with Tavares back at C like Keefe said would happen eventually, but I’m not sure I like any of the left winger combos in that scenario.
Bunting-Matthews-Marner
Jarnkrok-O’Rielly-Nylander
Acciari-Tavares-Lafferty
Kerfoot?-Kampf-ZAR/Holmberg/McMann
We have enough left to get a 2LW and bump Jarnkrok down with Tavares. Kerfoot probably goes the other way for cap and Acciari gets bumped back down to fourth line. If we don’t get an upgrade, run Tavares with grinders like he played with in NYI for some greasy goals and swap him with Jarnkrok every couple of shifts after an icing with a tired opponent on the ice.
It’ll be interesting to see how it shakes out, we have so many guys that play multiple forward positions that we can drop for unexpected double shifts in the bottom-6 to take advantage of mismatches.
