Sounds like losing to me. Moving to Winnipeg lolWhat is he winning?
You are most likely right. I am actually OK with adding more to that package though. Lindholm could really be a game changer for us, and the fact that we'd have 2 runs with him in the lineup is the reason I'd feel comfortable making an aggressive futures heavy offer for him.He would be a wonderful addition for sure. I think the cost would be higher, and we don't have the cap room for him, with the deal as suggested. We have to sign Knies at $925k, and adding him @50% would be $2.425 addition, with only $2 mil going out. So we'd be ~$421 over the cap.
Winning a cup when they beat the Leafs in November? What is he winning?

Agree. Definitely a gamble, but could pay off.Pretty big gamble, 20 year old who's never played an NHL game going head to head against the team who's taken the east 3 years in a row for his first taste.
aka nothing.
Nada.....yet.
I would put JVR on PP1. But man he is useless other than net front presence.Honestly don’t think JVR would be a bad move. Should cost about a 3rd. Chemistry with Marner.
JVR-Tavares-Marner could be money. Toss JVR on pp2 in front of the net
dont think he is what we are looking for tbh.Would anyone have any interest in bringing back JVR for a mid round pick to play line 3, or is he unanimously disliked?
Ehh like a 5th or something maybe but I don't love it.Would anyone have any interest in bringing back JVR for a mid round pick to play line 3, or is he unanimously disliked?
Tampa seems to have no problem plugging rookies/young players into their playoff lineups.Pretty big gamble, 20 year old who's never played an NHL game going head to head against the team who's taken the east 3 years in a row for his first taste.
My issue with JVR is that he's a one-trick pony, and he's also slowed down from the injuries over the years. Terrible defensively, not really good in transition either, pretty much just a guy who you use within 6 ft of the net cause he has soft hands and good reach. And as we know, he was never particularly physical for a guy of his size. He'd basically come in as a PP specialist at this point.Would anyone have any interest in bringing back JVR for a mid round pick to play line 3, or is he unanimously disliked?
Kinda trying to figure out how to fit that $7 million cap hit in, and is he really worth paying for double retention?Would anyone have any interest in bringing back JVR for a mid round pick to play line 3, or is he unanimously disliked?
