Is it really though? There's been a narrative the past several years that moves are more likely to happen at the draft.

Aside from that, deadline day is always a snoozer until the last hour. There's plenty of time before the draft to make trades, both today and in June.

And another aside, Philly just doesn't have a lot of valuable assets that make sense to move. Terrible team is terrible. They're much like the late 2000s era Leafs.

It's also shitty for someone like Gus. You're sabotaging this dude's career earnings potentially because you've acquired him to basically sit, if nobody else moves. Schenn won't be sitting and Holl is Keefe's son, so who will come out of the lineup for Gus? He has no place here, and he's already been a fringe guy for many years and was having a productive season in Washington. Let the man get his money somewhere

Philadelphia Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher announced that winger Travis Konecny will be out for at least the next 2-3 weeks with his upper-body injury, and could potentially be out for the rest of the season.

I think he’s the one moved, but someone has to be for sure.

Can’t sit Holl / Schenn / Gus especially when all of them are UFA.

I couldn’t care less about Gustafsson’s future earnings. The playoffs are a gauntlet and the Leafs if they go far will sustain injuries. If Gus spends a lot of time riding the pine too bad. Better to have insurance on the back-end in case of worst case scenarios.

How many rookie with less than 20 game they played in playoff with tqmpa juat for fun? They domt just took young player or rookie and put in the line up, rookie earn his spot, its a huge difference

He's our backup LD. Honestly, don't care about anything else, except the team having it's best chance going forward. Would you rather have Gus, or Benn as your substitute LD if Rielly goes down, and we need someone for the PP? I care about the team.

Do you think he would be the first replacement if a LD goes down? For me it depends on how good McCabe-Brodie are down the stretch. I can see Keefe sliding Brodie to LD and dressing whoever of Schenn/Holl/Lily he has scratched before going to Gus.

Why can't I get paid to say stupid shit and talk out of my arse???

I’m glad you care more about a career journeyman’s career earnings than you do your own teams playoff success…..

If we manage to go on a run to the cup we will need at least 8 D. Why is this so hard for people to understand
