I suspect they still get enough viewership and hence ad money that it makes them worth doing. When you consider the normal daytime programming on TSN and SN, I think they definitely draw a lot more. I think a lot of people have one of them on in the background as they do other things..
But nobody's forcing you to watch them. Is having these shows on the air affecvting you in some way?
Not saying I am forced to watch, I just don’t understand why they would hype up the deadline so much? I guess they knew there is a great chance it will be a dud, but as you said, it still draws more viewers than regular programming
