But nobody's forcing you to watch them. Is having these shows on the air affecvting you in some way?

Not saying I am forced to watch, I just don’t understand why they would hype up the deadline so much? I guess they knew there is a great chance it will be a dud, but as you said, it still draws more viewers than regular programming
 
when street toughs break into my house, restrain me and force me to watch the trade deadline show all day

He has 2 playoff runs left on his current deal, which is so on brand for Kyle Dubas. I don't think that's enough for Lindholm, especially if Calgary is retaining. The cost would be way too high for us

He isn't waiver eligible after this year... Kastelic, so after this year, you can't stash him in the AHL. I don't think he makes an impact here for us this year. Kampf is a good 4C... and I get we play him 3C minutes, but he's a 4C... I hope he's extended. RoR/Holmberg... either are good for a 3C... I just don't see the need at the moment, unless Kampf walks. Kastelic isn't nearly as effective as Kampf.

Not necessarily though when considering the amount of pending UFAs at that spot (the blueline in totality).

to me, that would be a "Khawi" move, and if we could have him for 2 playoff runs at just over 2 mill, it's a no brainer.

JT looked good on the wing IMO, and Lindholm is as good a 2C as any in the league. It would be a dream to see that come to life

Lindholm would be a fantastic move.

Having both him and McCabe at 50% is also a great way to solve the annual problem of having limited depth after the big 5.

Solid D, physical and he can score goals. He paces for 20+ every year. He comes in as a rounded middle-6 forward at a fixed cost, the same way McCabe was.

You could argue McCabe is of higher importance. You could argue Vatrano isn't good enough for a pick that high. Both fair points.
 
I think again, one thing to consider is how much can you really change in one deadline? You talk about all in, but 6 new players is wild.
