Why on earth would everyone be so angry about Martian?!
It’s just another source of interest, this is all entertainment after all. I agree with him, he isn’t pretending to be Elliot Friedman here - he’s a huge fan with some connections putting shit out there that he’s obviously hearing.
If he’s wrong he’s wrong - but he’s not sitting there flat out lying trying to put something over on people.

The tweet about dorion was a flat out statement so it was a lie

Normally he hedges it

That's why people are upset, he basically became the Sens eklund in one go which is kind of impressive

The pearl clutching here is amazing. You’re actually upset about a Twitter guy posting what he hears because…what? He’s broken the portion of your heart that requires 100% accuracy while talking about sports entertainment?
Do you not have a personal filter? Do you not find the speculation entertaining? The discussions?

So bizarre.

You're telling me we can't trust the streets?

What has the world come to...

lol, exactly.

I think some of it is just hate from people who thought five years ago that they should start a sens podcast and but never put in the work.

Now they’re watching guys like Martian and the Locked on guys get privileged access and their jealousy is bubbling up.

Tied for worst goals against in the division too.

So glad getting another top 4 D fixed everything.

The Top 4 D we got isn't that good at defending.

We also have no depth so one injury and we are back to playing marginal NHLers in the top 4.

Should we blame the GM who identified him, the coach who can’t help him improve, or both?

We also have no depth so one injury and we are back to playing marginal NHLers in the top 4.

Good teams and coaches can overcome one injury.

Hoping for a 100% healthy season isn’t realistic

We are in agreement my man. And the answer to your first question is both.

Have you seen the teams they've played so far?
Their top two centres are poitras and zacha. If we had their same schedule and we were 0-7 we would be talking about lack of Center depth

I think those players also hate to lose.

I don't think many of our players care. Like you can tell Giroux hates it but that's about it.
They’ve been put in an environment where consequence come with losing.

What consequences to these players face? Dj keeps throwing them out there.

Preaching to the choir.

I want one of the boys shipped out. Make the rest of them watch as he packs his shit up and gets on a plane to f***ing Arizona or something.

Their opposition hasn't been the highest level but they are also aren't running into any "ah well shit happens" games like we seem to be quite often already.

Good teams are good because they are consistent and pick up points where they should.

Maybe they run into problems quickly enough but they're banking the points they need to to get through the rough patches.

Don't change the subject.

This is who Boston has played so far:

Chicago x2
Anaheim x2
LA
San Jose
Nashville

They've had BY FAR the easiest schedule in the league.

Okay? Y'all were saying "well, these are the easy teams" when we had our 3 game win streak against Washington, Philly and Tampa.

The subject hasn’t changed. They are picking up points when they should.

And are at the top of our division

Careful now...half of them might be thinking "woo hoo, golfing on my days off"

Considering how the last game this team played against Chicago went I have to give full marks to the Bruins for not taking them lightly and getting 4 points.
