Well. CP hardly have a long history of hiring exciting managers - Hodgson isn't even close to being the worst.

CP are a bit like Watford - just that Watford actually hire managers that like to play.

CP tried with de Boer. I can't really blame them for sticking with Hodgson considering he has been able to get them away somewhat from fighting to survive. Not really sure what the next step is though.

Not giving Maupay a yellow for that is just atrocious officiating. There should be only two possible outcomes from that play. It's either a penalty or a dive. There is no circumstance in which a defender who is running behind an attacker who is in alone is allowed incidental contact with the attacker.

Kovacic, Jorginho, Mount midfield isn't ideal, especially if Jorginho sits back too much.

I was really hoping Frank would alter the system and go with a 4-2-3-1, with Gilmour and Kov as the double pivot and Havertz further forward than Mount is in the 4-3-3. But alas.
