idk what you guys expected tonight. I was impressed we skated with them for as long as we did.
Why not? What happened after he did?
and with that useless plug rooney now it’s even worseNothing happened, people were in here saying the Motte hit wouldn’t have happened if Reaves dressed.
Reaves is one of if not the worst forwards in the league, the 4th line now stinks again.
Watching KAM makes me so happy for him yet so depressed about Kakko and Laf at the same time.
Remember when the world was "laughing" at KAM at the WJC when Laf scored that beauty of a goal? They aren't even in the same ballpark right now in terms of impacting a game
Yea how did he do that?played a decent game, KAM is a freak.
struggle for KAM at times last couple of years, but you can’t give up on athletes like that. He’s really putting it together, happy for him.
Felt the Rangers had a really good first and the Canes adjusted. Got better and better as the game went on.
Rangers will learn from this one. Canes play a skilled fast heavy defensive game. They have to beat them on the PP and cash in on the chances they get.
Make it tough on the goalie. Need to stay physical up front, Otherwise you need to shut them down like the last time they played them
50 wow
Actually insane to think of what Laf and Kakko used to be perceived as compared to what they are now. Somehow both of them ended up as laughing stocks. Kakko was an NHL ready serious power forward with puck protecting abilities that were reminiscent of Peter Forsberg. Lafreniere was Jonathan Huberdeau that played with an edge and was an intense leader. Now Kakko is Georgiev 2.0 and Lafreniere is a silly gooseWatching KAM makes me so happy for him yet so depressed about Kakko and Laf at the same time.

They had him and Necas together 4 on 4 let that sink in.Carolina handed the Rangers their lunch in the 3rd period.
Seth Jarvis is a very impressive player. Carolina had him on the ice on the 4 on 4 in the middle of third period. Not bad for a player who just turned 20.
Carolina is a very good team. They lost in the conference finals to Boston in 2019. Lost to Boston in the bubble. They beat Nashville in the 1st round last season. They lost to TB.
Sometimes you have to lose in order to win.
Drury's #1 priority in the off season is finding a better partner for Fox to play with. Lindgren's had a nice run here but he's a bottom half defenseman. He's weighing Fox down. Fox needs a big strong stay at home partner.
well Laf still plays with an edge that's not good enough for you? You mean you actually want him to do more?Actually insane to think of what Laf and Kakko used to be perceived as compared to what they are now. Somehow both of them ended up as laughing stocks. Miller needs no one. He could have played by himself the way he was playingCorrection - Drury should find a partner for Trouba, because Miller belongs on the top pair next to Fox.
Don’t forget about #2When all is said and done Miller is going to be the biggest positive to come from this entire season. It looks like this team may have finally done the impossible and produced it's own franchise first pair D man.
Yes? You’re content with Laf as he is??well Laf still plays with an edge that's not good enough for you? You mean you actually want him to do more?
Easy. I expected them to win, just like I do every game.idk what you guys expected tonight. I was impressed we skated with them for as long as we did.
Everyone’s going to say he’s still recovering when he’s been playing like this his entire careerHes absolutely not caught up with the speed of the game. I isolated him when watching and he skates a lot of circles while chasing the player/puck. Not assertive, not confident, not quick on his feet. I know some will say that he was injured, but the bottom line is that he is hurting that line, and being that this is a playoff team, whats best for him and the Rangers is that he sits down.
