Would like to see Robertson on 4th line and move up to 2nd line only if he earns his keep. He hasn't proven he's durable at the NHL level so losing him for months during the first 10-game stretch would disrupt the 2nd line more than it would the 4th line.

Holmberg has only played 6 games with the Marlies to date. I don't think it would be crazy to start the year with the Leafs but I suspect it'll be half a year with the Marlies to get acclimated and then a callup with a spot presents itself. He's one I am looking forward to making his debut though. Steeves being another.

I think everyone's slot on the roster will be pretty fluid except the big 4 and maybe Bunting. That's moreso just a list of the 11 guys I think are pretty likely to be there barring injury with Robertson being the biggest question mark of the bunch. It's time for him to cement his spot though. The actual lines can be adjusted as one wants. Your guess on what Keefe will do is as good as any.

Dont like paying him that much when he hasn’t showed up in the playoffs yet. But I guess I’d rather pay him that much than lose him and have to give his spot in the line up to a guy like Malgin.

haha^ so true! I should have worded it a lil better. It made me laugh and head scratch right after. Here was a guy who started to break out but couldn't break in during a hhuge Playoff appearance.*vas or not,..3rd,4th liners seem to be the ones you want to rely on to score goals and be the line that changes the heat of the game for the win.

Like I said though,,..he did improve the last 1/2 and hopefully he keeps improving. He does have the tools/size and even speed to make a differece. I feel he needs a bigger edge and hunger for the puck to add to his game and hopefully he knows that too.

Need to proactively manage this by trading a couple proactively and have some longer lasting contracts running multiple years.

Two years would be one year too many IMO. I would hwve moved on from he and Mik at the deadline. I just see a nice, competent guy who doesn't have it in him to be a Gamer when it matters.

I know the team has made some moves, but if you still have faith in the big four, they need to revamp as much of the team as you can. This includes Engvall, Kerfoot and others. That's the scenario as I see it after so many first round exits

If Leafs stick with the big contracts then move many of the others.

Maybe he will realize he has some size. When he uses it, he can make defenseman work hard. Tavares does it effectively,.Pierre csn too (I hope).
