Nothing really surprising about his production this year tbh. It's just the first time he got a shot at anything more than a 4th line role.

Fair enough however I’d personally want to see him replicate this type of production for one more year.

This contract is alright, an extra year would be nice but still it’s solid

Loosing all 3 of Mikheyev, Kase and Engvall would have been a big chuck of the middle 6 gone. Engvall will be good with Kampf and either Jarnkrok or Aube-Kubel.

He's actually not a bad player. If the dude had any sort of a mean streak...he would have been an elite bottom 6 power forward type of player.
