Call me crazy, but Danault might also improve with Claude gone. He's had good wingers, but he's been coached to play a very simple game for the last couple of years. Maybe he can unlock some of that offensive potential he talks about.

Danault has never been a good puck distributor, not in my times watching him. He is however a tough guy to play against, strong defensively but not a big point producer. We need him to help in whatever defensive assignments we can use him in but we cannot keep rolling him out there when we need a boost offensively. If Ducharme continues to do that then he is killing his own potential NHL coaching career.

Toffoli was removed from KK's line because that line was painfully slow as f*** and stopped scoring. Ik KK would prefer playing with literal garbage instead of Tatar who only had 61 points in 68 games just last year(playing with Danault no less!), but that's the reason. Toffoli also wasn't playing that great once we stopped playing the Canucks, but whatever fits your garbage agenda I guess.

Try again. It was Danaults line that was cold as ice and why they moved things around. Why would you move the guy you have benched to get the third line going. Talk to Julien.. these old school dinos are so stubborn, i remain bewildered how they even become coaches to begin with..
Therrien was the worst, Julien a close second (see Bill Lindsay OT v Carolina in playoffs).
Hockey has changed, youth rules.. if i were coach, im giving tope two lines 5v5 18min+ /game. JK time to show up.. give him 20 min a night. These guys are elite athletes, they do not get tired playing 20 min.

I think that's what he could be. He has some offensive talent, could fill in as a second liner in a pinch. But we've miscasted him and he needs to be used properly. For now it's fine if he's our defacto number 2 as the others are learning but we have to give more ice and opportunity to KK for sure.
