Does anyone believe there's more to Bohm's bat? Candelario and Chapman would probably be better, though more expensive, options.

Dombrowski says after talking to Harper he’s going to be playing first base going forward.
Ok well, so long Rhys. That's a shame, truly. How that tenure ended. I'd love to see him in the OF as our token bad outfielder hitting from the right side, if the choice is Castellanos or him.

What I'm trying to say is trade that bum Nick and bring Hoskins back lol

Hoskins not being re-signed and Sonny Gray replacing Nola are both unwelcome bits of news.

Gray is a clear downgrade.

Another year of Castellanos sucks too.

Offseason is not off to a promising start. We'll see I guess. Vibes are bad.

That's the start of my acceptance stage.

Gray doesn't really excite me. I don't think buying an older pitcher after a career year is smart. He's good, though
It all comes down to term for this team I think. Money in and of itself is no (or hardly) object. HC posted something claiming Nola wanted 7 years. That's a no from me, dawg. That being said, Nola is clearly the better option of the 2

Yeah, and I'm fine with prioritizing long term flexibility if they pick up another SP in addition to Gray.

I've seen quite a bit of talk that Gray failed in a big market before and how that might be predictive. Whatever you think of him as a pitcher, I wouldn't count those Yankees seasons against him. Here's an interview he did with FG this year:

The Yankees section is hilarious. They even catch a major stray when they ask about Minnesota.

Three questions after asking about New York:
Laurila: Now you’re in Minnesota.
Gray: “Yes, and another thing with New York is..."

Incredible

That's a fantastic interview.

The team will never win a World Series with Nick as a full time starter. He is so easy to pitch to and is an absolutely terrible fielder. Plus he might be the most infuriating player Ive ever watched on the Phillies. Going to be a long 3 more seasons.
