Disappointed but they’ve stolen more games than they’ve shat. Can’t steal them all and every teams drops a turd or two. Sucks that we’ve wasted a couple clutch hits recently though. The batters have shown all year they never count themselves out

Ive been mr optimistic because i believe in this offense and knew theyd turn it around .

That said...this teams finished. No team can win with this bullpen. Weve been lying to ourselves that Alvarado and Siranthony are actually good...theyre not. Theyre elite throwers but bad pitchers. Kimbrel is cooked. Soto and Hoffman bad a nice 6 week stretch but theyre meh at best. There is just not one good reliable arm in that bullpen... let alone a great one.

I know Bohm blew the play but bases shouldnt be loaded in that situation. Complete clown show performance by Alvatado.

Move ranger to the pen to try n salvage the season but i want this pen gutted in the offseason.

Ranger and either Sanchez of Lorenzen both need to go to pen if we make the playoffs. They need guys that can actually pitch. I like Hoffman and Strahm. No confidence in anyone else right now.

I agree. Honestly walker and sanchez coule hold down the 3 n 4 starter spots.

This bulpen and pitching staff carried them for months while the offense was impotent. It happens. I dont see them winning a World Series with Schwarber in left field. That's my concern.

They can easily use him as DH with Marsh in LF while Rojas or Pache man CF. Its not nearly as big of a problem as the bullpen right now, and right now is all that matters.

Not if Bryce cant play the field everyday which hasnt been the case. Seranthony sucked in September last year and he turned it on in the playoffs. It's possible a few of these relievers do. There is no chance Kyle fields better in the meantime. He has cost them so many runs this year on plays that were not difficult.

Then he was dynamite the rest of the way. These relievers being terrible now doesnt mean they will in the playoffs. They have a month to figure it out, Hoffman needs to be the high leverage reliever. He did his job, Bohm did not tonight.

Thats fair. Hopefully adding one of their SPs to the bullpen will help. These are the ebbs and flows of a baseball season. Its just crazy how this team seems to only lose in heartbreaking fashion.
