I mean yes, but I have to imagine "fandom" is a little different for professional athletes. Bryce has actual real life friends that play on the Eagles at this point. You best believe he roots for the Eagles to some degree, if not most of the time, and isn't being fake about it. Especially with the connection to the city he has

You don't think so? It's happened to me irl multiple times. Granted high school/travel sports, but still the same idea.

I'm not saying if the Eagles played the Cowboys in the playoffs he'd be a "winner either way"

I guess what I'm poorly articulating is the sting of Eagles/rival success is a lot more tolerable and even not that big of a deal when you a real life, human connection to people enjoying that success. He's worn Eagles green and attended games. I just don't think it's as big of a taboo as it would be for me to throw an Eli jersey on, for example.

Hypothetically, if one of my irl friends was a Giants WR, you know I'd at least have his jersey and hope for his and the team's success, just not at the expense of the Eagles!
